What would be the point? To serve what purpose? The moment Eagle Dynamics introduce this weapons, the next group would start criticizing the fact that was introduce just like they are doing now on the F/A-18 with the TGP. This cycle have been going on this forums for over 10 years. A group would complain and ask about item A, finally it get added and the next group would complain and ask for Item A to be removed. How many post we saw: release the F-16, we don't care if its not done, etc. F-16 was release, next group: What is this? is not ready! why release it? There was updated to the stable one week and an update to the openbeta the other week. Complain, complain don't release bugs on stable version they posted. Next group: Why no updated to stable for so long? So I ask again: What would be the point? To serve what purpose?

  6. Could you post a track showing the problem? It will be easier to tell what you mean and easier to see if you are doing something wrong.
  7. No longer an issue openbeta version 2.5.6.49314
  8. For this version: In Nav mode The HUD roll indicator displays tics are spaced 10 degrees apart except for the outer tics, which are spaced at 45 degrees. The tics are body stabilized; the caret roll is stabilized within the limits of the display. The display is limited to ±45 degrees with the outer part of the caret disappearing as the aircraft is rolled less than 45 degrees; the caret will be on a line through the center of arc, perpendicular to local level. The roll indicator is generally displayed when the pitch ladder is displayed but is not displayed under the following conditions: - In dogfight, with ammunition loaded in the gun. - DED or PFLD data is displayed on the HUD. - FPM bank indicators are displayed - INS data is invalid Air to Ground modes The bank angle indicators consist of two 5 mr tics drawn to represent 60 degrees of bank with dots drawn at 15 degree intervals except at 0 degrees. The bank angle indicators are horizon stabilized and caged to the FPM. The wings of the FPM are used as pointers against the bank angle indicators. The bank angle indicators are displayed whenever the FPM is displayed and the vertical velocity scale is selected.
  9. USAF F-16C block 50 have not used PIDF yet AFAIK, definitely not circa 2007 which is suppose to be the year of the DCS F-16. Currently, some F-16A (i.e. RDAF, Belgian Air component, RNLAF, etc) and USAF F-16C block 30 form the ANG/USAF reserve are using PIDS. This F-16 versions only have two internal chaff/flare dispensers so they need the additional ones provided by this systems. Block 40 and above and many Israeli F-16 have additional dispensers so PIDS is not used.
  10. Despite the tittle, this are mostly RMAF F-16C block 52+ with other version and clips mix in. Interestingly: At 2:00, note only two missile (appear to be AGM-88, front wings tapper to a smaller shape, where AIM-7 front wings do not do that ) on station 7 and 3 even tho CFT are installed.
  11. Rockets single or ripple has seen many treads, in many modules for many years. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=273576 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=259549 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=210707 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=215094 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=214606 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=214880 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=54698 This tread is from 2005 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=6730
  12. I have mention this before. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=250501 Edit https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=256193 The fact that we need 8 minute alignment tells me this is not an EGI. But the INS and GPS work together. This is those times where it was not just INS but INS with GPS.
  13. At idle Fuel Flow in Pound Per Hours (PPH) should be anywhere from 700-1700. RPM is 62% to 80%. As you can see there is no specific number at idle. Above idle, real life manual only mention the limits, meaning RPM should not exceed 106%, no limit on PPH, etc. I think Bonzo0181 had the best suggestion, I use the control indicator together with sound to tell where the throttle is.

  15. I am not your target audience and I have zero interest on all this additional skins. My opinion is not only irrelevant but inconsequential. If you wish to put A model skins on the C model is fine. I would just ask people doing that to stop complaining about "details" since details are obviously not important if you are using those skins on DCS F-16.
  16. If you are referring to the photo link by =Panther=, That is not a "fake rack for the AGM" that is another electronic pod for training. It is also loaded on station 7, not 6 (where the wing tanks go) and it is not the F-16C we have in DCS, 89-2048 is a block 42
  17. Talking about trivia: CJ is not an F-16 designation, it is a Technical Order (T.O.) designation. I tried to explain that here https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3745350&postcount=164 and here https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3798164&postcount=351 and here https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3370270&postcount=428 Consequently: For the USAF dedicated SEAD/DEAD units will be ones equip with F-16C block 40/50/52 with that mission. Note no block 42, only two unit that I'm aware can deploy to combat with block 42 is Toledo ANG, 180th Fighter Wing (FW), 112th Fighter Squadron (FS) and the 138th FW, 125th FS. Both are unique using block 42 with F100-PW-229. But neither is used for the SEAD/DEAD mission AFAIK. I digress, So for the USAF, it would be OSAN AB 51st FW, 36th FS block 40. Kunsan AB 8th FW, 80th FS block 40 have been seen with HTR pods in training. Misawa AB 35th FW, 13th and 14th FS block 50. Shaw AFB 20th FW, 55th, 77th, and 79th FS block 50. Spangdahlem AB 52FW, 480th FS block 50. For the Air National Guard: there is 148th FW, 179th FS block 50 and the 169th FW, 159th FS block 52.
  18. It is link to the throttle position switch, So not RPM. Power lever angle is more precise, but inch movement forward from idle is good enough to explain it.

  20. I thought Calibrated Airspeed (CAS on the HUD) is a different thing from Indicated Airspeed (IAS on the Airspeed/Mach indicator) The HUD will show CAS, True Airspeed (TAS) and Ground Airspeed (GND SPD) which are all different than IAS. Also in the USAF F-16C circa 2007 (AFAIK)
  21. There could be many reasons: - DCS F-16 is WIP for all ground weapons and systems. So maybe is in the works. - If it is accurate (which I do not know it it is), it could be the real life aircraft was never tested with those load out. - It could be, if it was tested (in real life) it was found the air around the airframe would move the weapons to close to the fuselage or that it cause damage to the aircraft, hitting the frame.
