Epic news, the Kfir is apparently coming to DCS as a paid module by a 3rd party dev. If so we're getting the following..... Israel/Syria map Mig-23 F-4 A-4 (Apparently Razbam) Mirage III (Razbam again) Kfir Giving the perfect setting for an Arab Israeli conflict in the cold war!

Indeed, but also the Iranian F-14s could be given a specific designation like AM or A/IRN to differentiate between the IS A models and Iranian A models

I remember in one of the videos HB mentioned they were also going to add an option or something for an Iranian specific F-14A modification. Like possibly with the option of adding Russian missiles, no TV cam under the nose, and other such modifications. Is that still being followed?

I don't think simply making Taiwan a faction in DCS would really matter much

Ah ok, thanks I'll check em. Can there be more? Just curious. Since it's a PG mission it makes sense for more Saudi F-5s to be there. Also for the Asian mission, along with South Korean F-5s, maybe Japanese F-86s would be an excellent addition. It sure sounds great for the upcoming Mariana Islands map! :thumbup:

Also for Once upon a time in Abu Dhabi could you also add Saudi Arabia to blue for and switch some of the F-5s to SA faction?

I have a question @Alpenwolf Can you make a new but somewhat similar mission which is kind of Asian centric? Like South Korea as the main blue force vs China and North Korean Migs? Also could you make a mission which requires the use of the A-4E Skyhawk mod from Hoggit dev? Skyhawk would fit perfectly in the server for cold war. Plus the A-4 would fit in both maps especially the PG map since Kuwait used them.

Well currently both the F-14B and F/A-18C in game are too advanced for the Cold War server period. If we had a flyable F/A-18A then it would make more sense. The F-14A is on the way and that may actually get added, although there's a slim chance for that too cause it's BVR capabilities are far too OP. So maybe after a Mig-25 Foxbat gets added then we can see both in the server but until then the F-14A may not be in game

Yeah, there is a skin for the F-5 and also the Mirage, but not faction to go with them
