I guess I was a little vague. I will try again. I have an idea for a training tool that can be utilized through a mini-marketplace system were both expert pilots, new pilot, medium pilots and squads can find good value. There is a monetary element as well. If you are into DCS, are a web dev, and would like to make cash (residual) while making a much needed tool for DCS pm me. Additional anybody with real world flight experience and/or knowledge of any of the aircraft in DCS you could get involved and enjoy a monetary element for your efforts. The first experts that get involved will benefit the most monetarily. PM me if you are interested in learning more. Let me know if you are web dev or expert and what air frame. Thanks

Dynamic Campaign

I have the VKB Gunfighter MK2 Pro, its a top quality product. I also have the Virpil T-50 throttle, its is also very good. I do not have a Virpil stick. However I do prefer the quality of my VKB product. Nothing in the VKB gives a impression of a lesser product. I also prefer the software for the VKB. Both have software that is not very intuitive.

Apparently you are a little off...so let see if this works. The file attached is obviously not a acmi file. I thought that would be easily deduced. The file attached is what I believed to be a debug file that tacview produced. My theory was to explain the issue and attach a log that some one would be kind and try to help me out but instead I got you trying to lecture me on file structure. Hope you the very best but you assistance is not needed any-longer. Thanks

I uninstalled and cleaned all traces of tacview. Then reinstalled and it appears to of done the trick.

That is no help at all...windows shows it as a acmi file...so is does have acmi in it. Look for yourself it stated as the file type. It creates a acmi file in the desired folder but it is only 1KB where in properties it is 4KB in one example...no one has seen this before?

Hi, I just started using tacview again. I have noticed a strange issue. It records a acmi file and puts it the proper folder but window almost always shown it as 1KB but if i click on it and look deeper into its properties/general tab its some other value that is consistent with an actual acmi file. Needless to say that it does not play back...can someone please advise as to what might be the problem. Tacview.rar

Where is the extension folder for AIRIO.dll. I placed it in user/saved games/DCS/script/vaicompro and user/saved games/DCS/Mods/tec/vaicompro...should it be somewhere else. In PTT/EX it says driver not loaded?

I notice i get black screen when i use the UI to adjust controls for F14 and then exit. I have to Alt/Ctrl/Del to get out as well.

My bad i meant LCtrl+LAlt+C. Not sure but with the free version you might not be able to use the PTT configuration.

Try RCtrl+RAlt+C

I used a CH setup for about 10 years. I found it to be serviceable. But not very precise. While doing the Maple Flag A10 basic training and advance missions with AR sorties proved to be very frustrating with the fighterstick and pro throttle. In fact I got so frustrated I ordered a VKB gunfighter and Virpil T-50 throttle. The very first time I tried to AR with the new setup it worked like a boss. I never know that the CH was handicapping me and the precision of my flying.

Well that makes sense then. I will just configure viacom to register \ once at the depress of the mic switch and that should do the trick. thanks.

Hey Cake, not sure I follow you. Should the comms menu toggle on and off when a mic switch is pressed or is mine porked?
