They sure can. But to make a skin template from scratch in that quality ED gave us. That would take some time... I think i stick to ED's myself. :) Just get in there somewhere under the wear&tear/rivets/lines layers and add something new. ;) @crazysundog I dont know GIMP either im afraid. I have worked with Photoshop over 10 years in my daily work and that is what i use. I love the layer handling in it. Maybe GIMP is the same, maybe not. The layer technique is what makes a graphic program powerful imo and PS cost some serious money. Cheaper version, but still very good, is Adobe Elements. If you seriously want to start doing things like skinning and other graphics i would recommend Elements. I think its around 70£. Or if GIMP does the same job for free, then go with that. :)

Isnt the training sessions in the sim good? (i dont know yet as i dont have BS). And i personally think the DCS manual is very professional. Agreed on yellow on white though. But nothing in this world is perfect. Yin & yang - little crap in the good and a little good in the crap. Or something like that. ;) Regards Alex

Just a little side step here. If we fly MP and i have my own skin on my KA50, does everyone have to download it previously or will it upload to everyone before start so everyone can see my skin? Thanks. Regards Alex

Agreed. Its the most professional template ive seen in my days. Layers for precisely everything. That ED released it to us is just too good to be true. :)

Remember that the PDF manual have a "search" function. Very easy to obtain info about anything. ;)

I have heard it from others too. Dont know why this happens as it does sink in FC for example. There is a lake though in LO where the water line is lower than the ground. Making ships hover and you can see the propeller and hull in mid air. Dont know if the lake you are talking about experience the same phenomenon. Regards Alex

Seriously though guys. With TrackIR (Save up until you can afford it) youll enter a new world of gaming/simming. It is good for sims, fps, racing and more. You will never have to touch anything to look around thus leaving you with more options at your hands. Regards Alex

The sim supports 6 degree of freedom so you can "stand up" and you will see over the nose more. And if you also stand up and move to the side with your head you will see outside the window and down much easier. This way you can land much better. I dont think you can move your head really outside the door(?) but with it open you see even more down than with it closed during this TrackIR move. Since the armoured sides of the kamov takes up a lot of FOV.

PDF manual search "de icing" and it tells you its a warm up of blades. And it can be left on. ;)

Nice ones mitch! I love skinning as well. Will pump out some skins later when i get the sim. ;) And with the awesome, AWESOME, template we have, well, it will be so nice to make skins.

Labels are a very boring solution. I dont have BS yet so i dont know how well you can scan and find (identify) targets solo. But with some A/C's its almost impossible without support from i.e ground troops etc. In one of Wags videos he sends out 2 of his wingmen to scan areas and when they find enemies they upload them to him through the datalink. After that you got them on your ABIRS and can engage plus tell your wingmen to engage. Even tell them from where they should attack using the datalink. Very nice indeed.

That is the beauty of triggers. Even the mission maker cant always be sure of exactlly where or when the enemy pops out. :) Will test this once western release is out.

South side stockholm, and these fiber lines are put down as a result of the whole near by community getting it. So when its complete in all houses/apartements, they will invite the suppliers onto that line. We will get internet, tv and phone through that line. Right now im using comhem, and they are one of the suppliers coming onto that line. Wich the others are i dont know atm, but the note i got says it will be competing companies. And since comhem supply 50mbit now (soon?), i guess the others need to be top line too and since they share the same line/contacts - it will be easy as pie to change between them if we are not satisfyed. Also it comes with services such as possibilities to order tv shows, movies and games etc. Havent read all the info on it yet as i got tons of papers and booklets about it. :)

Jag har funderat på att tanka faktiskt i väntan men skippat det. Om DCS har själva laddat ner den versionen och seedat (för att se IP'n) så vill jag inte bli bannad från detta super community. Flera stycken har blivit bannade eftersom de fått reda på att dom tankat den ryska versionen. Några puckon t.o.m skrev på några av tankings ställena i comments om hur man får igång simulatorn etc... Så det är lockande och eftersom jag definitivt ska köpa varenda modul så känns det liksom inte så fel att tanka och testa, men jag vill inte bli bannad som sagt. Tänk på det ni andra som funderar på det. ;) /Alex

You loose it and im getting fiber installed as im typing this :) Its all installed, they just need to get all suppliers in on it. It was created so that they invite some of the biggest suppliers here in sweden. Gives me the choice to choose the best/cheapest/fastest within minutes. So i can switch in a heartbeat if its not to my liking. Very nice indeed and opens up good possibilities to host larger games later on. Regards Alex
