Not really. Looks like the "rope" just ends in the middle of the air. :D Looks more like feet on a branch to me. Yep i know its a slackrope, but still. And yes, on topic, i agree. When the jets are introduced i think most people will fly DCS. Then again, for a couple of fast movers, we have years to wait. So Lockon will be valid for some time. Regards Alex

Team speak 3 will have some new stuff regarding this as well i think. More and better support for in game comms. Might be something to look at for the next engine.

Nice shots LAF! Thanks. Also - AA is used wohoo. ;) Are those pics taken for the sake of screens or do you fly like that? If the last is true, then i envy you big time. Regards Alex -

Jajjamensan. Start at runway - engines on Start in air - engines (obviously) on Start at FARP - engines on Think that was it. Or did i miss something? EDIT: And then ofcourse simple startup. Guessing 1 button press - engine on. Regards Alex -
Imagine the day a sim get all in 1... Helis, jets, infantry, tanks, APC's etc etc, and all with the same realism as DCS:BS. Everyone in MP doing all aspects in full realism ...wow! (sorry for derailing a bit here, dont know what came over me). :) Yeah BS MP will be amazing eaither way. 16 should be enough for starters. WIll be needed for my training for sure. Argh cant wait!

Question about Demo for us in the west..
deviletk replied to Atomic978's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Yes, forcing ED to come on here to tell us "soon, soon, soon" doesnt give us anything, and we look like kids on christmas eve to them (or bird kids with open mouths yapping all the time). Let them work in peace, info will be dropped the same day they have some im sure. ;) Regards Alex -
^^ :megalol: Youll turn Yoda, watchout! My thaughts is that i do need this manual to be explained as proper as possible since im no helicopter pilot, let alone an attack helicopter pilot. So i need not only a manual that makes perfect sence, but also a squadron to practise with as i suspect i will clog this forum with questions otherwise. :D Good initiative by the OP though. Regards Alex

DCS: Black Shark English Key Command List and HOTAS assignments
deviletk replied to Wags's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Thanks again Wags. -
Do we know if BS can be hosted without opening a lot of ports? Some games/sims works fine with windows FW "as is". And some needs a lot of ports to be opened. Just wonder if someone knows this as i run with winFW atm. Will have to get another one if we need more "advanced" port opening. Maybe this is explained somewhere and i missed it. sorry in that case. Regards Alex

DCS: Black Shark, Russian Version has gone gold
deviletk replied to Wags's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
xhaos: Your joking right? The manual is still coming about 1 month before english release of BS (up to 3 months more). Keymapping PDF is already (in russian though) on the forum. Just look at the main thread for it. Regards Alex -
Will you buy the russian version of Black Shark?
deviletk replied to Kenan's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Exactlly. One can decide to support ED big by buying 50 copies and at the same time make 50 new really good friends at the same time. :megalol: -
DCS: Black Shark, Russian Version has gone gold
deviletk replied to Wags's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Info is already posted about probable release time for english version, quote "Although the game will be completed in 2008, it may not be available for purchase until early 2009". And the PDF manual is said to be released about 1 month before the release of that version. So there is still some time there. Now, Since finding info many times seems hard i will give a little tip here how to faster get information on a forum on your own. Use the search function first to get closer to what your looking for, then when you find a thread that seems to be right, use CTRL+F and put in a keyword for what you want to find, for example "manual". Do the same procedure on every page if the thread have more than 1 page. This way you dont necessarily have to read through every post. Happy info hunting. :) -

Oh wow thanks Urze! :) The number 4 "lead the USB cable outside throttle", how do i know wich of all those cables will go into the USB? Thanks again. -
I feel exactlly the same RT :) This is what separate us from the normal gamers. Those of my friends that dont understand why i "play" something i cant even master for a long time, they play the simpler entertainment. I try to explain just what you said RT, about those moments when you start "getting it" and how rewarding that is. Everytime you understand a new system (weapons, navigation, ECM etc etc) the sims just get funnier and funnier, and you get better and more deadlier... And i love flying jets for sure, love it, but for the first time ever i will be able to master (or try to master heh) a full bread got damn attack helicopter, and i sure wont let that opportunity pass me by! :) Regards Alex
