  1. Received my 1st order tracking this morning thanks Rainer, now stop messing with your Gunfighter and my MCG-Pro available for order LOL
  2. That is that's what I was afraid of glad I ordered 2 bases LOL Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. How easy is it to change the clutch setting can we do it on the fly. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. I ordered and paid in 1st hour and had a pre reservation and haven't heard anything yet, it's all OK tho I figure once I get it it will last 5 years or so, a couple of weeks is no big deal. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. Outside there is a shockwave lol, it never used to go quiet so someone decided to make it so , but I like that there is a solution I never tried the "hear like in a helmet" option before, I will give it a Go Thanks. I will change my profile picture LOL
  6. A couple of patches ago the sound was adjusted so that it goes quiet when the Aircraft goes Supersonic. While I find it useful sometimes it is totally unrealistic if you are trying to simulate the sound inside the Aircraft. When you go supersonic in a Military Plane at least in the Tornado the T-38 and the Hawk (those that I have experienced so I kind of assume its the same for the rest) there is no change in the noise inside the Aircraft, I used to take Passengers up in the backseat of the Tornado F3 and they were mostly very unimpressed when you told them they were supersonic, you could only tell by the fact that the ASI showed Mach 1.0. There is nothing to tell you you are Supersonic, apart from the instruments. Anyway I thought I would just mention it , not really a bug I guess just wondered why you had done it.
  7. I had exactly the same problem ended up canx the transfer , since found my US debit card works now trying to pay using that method for my old 15% off order. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  8. I had a load of trouble with my Credit cards ended up with Bank transfer. Anyone in the US get theirCredit card to work ok and if so what bank. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  9. I watched your video and it was interesting, by constant adjustments are you refering to the High AOA wing rock caused by alternate vortex separation from the wings. This is common to all swept wing Aircraft but I am not sure the pilot is actually correcting it as it is normally a natuarally damped phenomenon until it gets really heavy which it doesnt in the video. I will say having just taken the mig for a spin in the beta the wing rock is missing at the moment but as has already been pointed out there is still more tuning to come. 10. I like the new model tiny wings mean a lack of Roll inertia, like a lot of pilots I have T38 time capable of 720 degrees a second. It feels like instant response. The problem for us I believe is our input device. No variable force feedback and a short stick leads to problems
  11. I spent most of my military time on a Martin Baker but really my point was that a 20cm ext feels pretty close to real life for movement. The lack of feel is obviously missing as IRL when the Aircraft is faster the force to move the stick is increased. If you arent gonna have a force feedback system then for now I find 20 is fine ,tho I am looking forward to the VKB and Virpil Stick. Should at least get rid of the Warthog dead zone. 12. I use a 20cm extension on my Warthog it feels pretty realistic to me. It does magnify the dead zone in the center obviously but it makes precise control a lot easier. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  13. I tried to place another order but my discount code was denied. Waiting to hear from customer service . Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  14. Cyphr my CC company refused the transaction. There appears to be no way to go back in and pay for the Order I emailed the Customer service. You guys may want to put some way to pay for an invoice if the first attempts fails. This is fairly common problem with US CC compnies but normally u can make a quick call so the second attempt goes through. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  15. I have both, the Rift is still significantly better for DCS. Plus the Rift is now $200 cheaper makes it a no brainer choice to me. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  16. Its not that much of a disadvantage in fact once you are in the visual fight you actually have an advantage as its easy to point your lift vector and feel the angle off situation. I suggest getting used to aircraft with Radar to help with SA. The 16agr dynamic caucus server has no active weapons and is great if you want to do some A2A and often end up in a visual fight. 17. Vkb stated that they are supporting the glad pro with Warthog adapter now as originally promised. I am fortunate to afford to buy both, I want the Virpil Mongoose its perfect for Russian fighters and I am gonna buy Virpils gymbal. This is a relatively small market and I want to support all the players that are providing good products my Warthog gymbal is really p*******g me off. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  18. I agree that it is a bit sudden in DCS. In real life it goes kinda grey and tunnelly first before going dark and you do still have control for the first bit of completely black. Now I have to confess I never went further than the initial full loss of vision the majority of times immediately reduced back stick pressure when things went grey it was training after all. Now the other aspect is you cant actually feel the g in DCS so that makes the quick onset of G loc even harder to mitigate. I wish the model went grey a little slower and that you still had control at the initial black maybe 3 seconds to recover and after that g-loc. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  19. You need to take your pxel density down to 1.4 then it will work. For some reason pixel density above that really messes up the gamma. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  20. I certainly wouldnt argue either way but its a lot easier to buiild it with a lift gate and works.T-38 had finger lifts but only because they didnt trust us to not lift the throttle through the gate by accident :) Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  21. Lift cutoff idle detent for me. A small wheel shaped switch and flap shaped switch like real aircraft. You can feel them when in VR. As many multi axis analog sticks as you can fit. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  22. Ok I guess I will chime in as no one else has said anything. Ctrl1 is for Oculus software so wont do anything its an ASW issue. If you look at your gpu usage its probably averaging 50-70% as its a draw limitation and there is nothing to be done. I have a gtx1080 a Rift and a Vive. So all I can say is make your shadows Flat in both places and the rest as mentioned I use msaa 2, AA off texture all high water med view dist high clutter 100 trees 5000 preload 15000. Hdr off (YOU ALREADY HAVE GOD RAYS DONT ADD TO IT !) Lens flare off. Thats about it you fps is gonna lock at 45fps most of the time but reprojection is gonna give you 90 and you will see some double vision fast and low. All I can say is live with it the immersion is well worth it. You are trading immersion for graphics quality and you will get used to it. For the majority the trade is well worth it. You will never get a solid 90fps with any current Rig. Finally 45fps is great some of us used a DK2 prior to ATW, we would have dreamed of 45 lol that was with a top of the line card. 24. I got shot down about 10 times trying to build a buc sam in an Mi8 with my buddy's trying to cover me and also getting shot. Fellow squad mate on Blue killing me a lot, may have been ok if Iauncher hadnt glitched we knew we were on a loosing wicket but tried anyway it was close. My point (finally you may say) its the fighters job is to shoot down the Helos, I play on the public 16agr servers all the time 50% of the time in a Helo. Fly with friends and get your own Cap just like real life. Sorry but this is a sim and just like real life the fighters are gonna take down the easy targets. Oh and carrying some SAM troops, can really water their eyes just dont VRS trying to land ( done all that from.both sides :) ) . Oh and we had a guest player on the server causing carnage in a Mistral Gazelle displaying great skill. To each his own but the greatest thing about DCS is that simulates real life Air Combat if you are worried about the score play battlefield. If you want to know what its like to fly Red Flag , fly on a public server with a bunch of friends and when you die check the TAC view just like Red Flag and learn why. I must admit I used to get annoyed when I died but I got over it and now enjoy every flight. Tac view is always running and its an invaluable learning aid. Occasinally I did nothing wrong the dam missile just chose not to fuze. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  25. I am not sure about your Vive Vs Rift assessment. I had both running on the same machine and the Rift was consistently better for DCS. While the Vive has improved significantly since release it still lags behind Vive in consistent frame rate reproduction. My machine was a 6700K with an gtx1080. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
