Thats the SAS doing it's magic.

Crashing should be gone. I know I've locked on and killed many KA-50's for the side's and back with this new version.
-
Still an early work in progress. We are trying to fix the swappingnhibg. So stay tuned.
-
A lot of those coming after we fix the multicrew issues.
-
Yeah we just send our files to ED and they release it in the next patch they push out. So we'll see. If it does come today you'll get to enjoy the all-aspect mistral (and it not crashing DCS), and the FFB wip, along with lots of other things.

Looks pretty awesome.

I think he's trying to give us a hint....we get it hawkeye....

The multi-crew is a WIP currently, so as we're able to do more - we'll add more. We have to work with ED to get some features implemented that aren't currently in there. Plus we have a lot of small things to fix since it was released publicly. We expected all these and were happy to hear your feedback since testing multi crew does take a lot of time for us. So any help testing and reporting issues is very welcomed. As usual, make sure you use the bug report template.

L gunsight reticule doesn't line up with glass
Mt5_Roie replied to Mtnbiker1998's topic in Bugs and Problems
It's noted. Will add it to work list. -
Auto collective was put in for gameplay reasons to allow you to kill targets and not have to worry about too many things. Since it's a the pilots responsibility, during multi crew - the pilot is in charge of it just like in real life. He's also reposnsible for the pedals until Autos-slave is activated. So more work for the pilot (just like in real life).

Made a video showing it off.

Is there a cockpit parameters guide for the Gazelle?
Mt5_Roie replied to DarkCrow's topic in SA-342M Gazelle
For detecting below certain height you can use the code in the mission editor. But you can also open up the training missions we created as well how that is programmed in there. Save you some time. -
Yes, it's all based in the script. You can actually set the codes to whatever you want them to be. I just left the default codes in there since they work with A-10C and Mirages. The nice thing is that along with lasering the script also pops red smoke on the target. So if you have units that can't drop laser guided munitions, they can just follow the red smoke and find the target.

Made a quick mission for you. To test it out you'll need a couple things: 1) The Gazelle Module 2) Some friends with A-10C to drop laser guided bombs on your targets Some info about the mission: The mission loads the scripts in the following order: mist, CTLD, and FAC It loads at 1, 5, and 10 seconds. So wait 10 seconds before doing anything. Hop in a Gazelle and go to the F10 menu and select FAC. Then pick a laser code you want to use. Take off and fly to waypoint 1...when you get about 20 km from target go to F10 menu again and select FAC again...and select on station. That will then make your aircraft a Forward Air Controller. It will essentially search for targets and mark them with red smoke and laser it. You need to maintain line of sight with the target in order to maintain the laser on it. You'll get messages on the when you laser a target or if you lose line of sight. So enjoy. FACTest.miz.zip

I find that most missions I have use Mist functions at the very least.
-
So in mission editor I usually do the following: 1 second after mission start - load MIST 5 seconds after mission start - load CTLD 10 seconds after mission start - LOAD CSAR Remember that these aren't really program and are more like a function. Mist is the main function that all the others need. I have one I recently played with that allows the Gazelle to function as a Forward Air Controller and mark and laser targets for aerial combatants. Maybe this weekend I'll do a quick training mission myself to showcase these scripts.

So I just flew about an hour long mission and used both altitude and speed modes. So altitude mode you have to make sure your VVI is 0 and speed is above 120 kph. I assign it to a switch on my throttle so it's on constant when I activate it. As long as I don't pitch up or down to hard, or slow down - it will hold the altitude. You'll also be able to turn pretty nicely too. In this mode, collective will control speed. The speed mode is similar, expect the only criteria is to be above 120 kph. In this mode collective will control height. I'll see if I can make a video this weekend.

The force will even be stronger in the next update when we introduce the WIP Force Feedback....so save up!

Awesome stuff....so next time you guys are in a hurry to get to the target area, just grab a porsche and load some portable HOT3 in the trunk (which if I recall is in the front).

I was using a warthog setup, saitek combat pedals, and track ir5. I had issues with the Oculus Rift that night, but the Mistral version might be to blame for that. I know Eagle_Rising was using his Oculus Rift that night. I usually use the high preset, but turn down the grass/clutter a bit. Being low to the ground, that stuff sometimes gets in the way. This is especially true in VR. They recently added a lot of flower to the ground, but they are 2d flowers and hurt the eyes to look at in 3d.

Can't wait until the Enforcer gets fixed so I can land in the lower hangar.
