It's on my list. We're a bit busy with multi crew and FFB testing right now. But we are looking at updating the inputs file to aid pit builders, so we'll try to resolve this at that time.

We tried to replicate this today and we didn't lose the tail. It did show the commander that slave was on (even though it wasn't), but the tail was intact. The slave can only be turned on my the pilot since it's on his stick. Also were working on fixing the text for the commander side in the next update.

I want to create a player has to get to a certain position and then laze targets for incoming A-10C. I have a script that makes the player an FAC and can laser, but trying to figure how to program it in the ME to tell the A-10C to come into the target area and drop munitions on my layered target. Ideally I'd like to make sure they are using my lasered targets and not targeting their own. Any ideas?

Which version of the Gazelle were you guys in? There is a know issue with the Mistral version.

Since Gazelle was introduced with multi crew I knew I wanted to spend some time and get to know some of the more visible DCS forum users. A great guy that has done so much for the Gazelle community and the VR community is HawkEye60. Self proclaimed Gazelle addict and president of Concerned Citizens for Blinky, he also makes some amazing VR Garages. It was great to sit down and fly with him and get to know him better. I hope HawkEye60 had a great time and tries out some of the other multiplayer servers to expand his knowledge and love for flight sims! If you tip your crew chief better, he'll wipe your windows clean before you take off. But I got it....clean the windows. Geez what has my life become...

Being worked on. Finally got a working Sidewinder FFB 2 stick to test with.

Although to be fair...the ghost of Blinky does like to come back and haunt you if you've killed him in a crash. Best fix for that is to seek out a medium and make a small sacrifice.

I did a quick flight in the Huey with it and it was pretty cool. The real issue is the besides the Sidewinder, the Logitech 940 is the only other FFB option I see. At around 400 bucks, that makes it an expensive one too....and since I already have a hotas setup and rudder - can't really justify getting another one. Also, the lack of buttons on the Sidewinder and the bulky look to it might keep it off my flying list, since I tend to prefer more realistic controllers. But....we have a FFB stick that works. So coding will start shortly.

Very nice! That is a big monitor to find targets with. Might have to do something like that on my setup.

Maybe I should have a little competition to win an internship. Start by having videos of the person flying and talk about what they like about DCS and the Gazelle. Then narrow it down to 4 peoples...put them on a server with 4 Mistral version and winner gets the internship. Thoughts?

Of course a true addict would know it's a HOT3 and not a TOW missile...but the fact you can get your wife to fly - we'll overlook that.

I just got the Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 with USB today so will test it this week sometime. If all goes well, will ship to Pat so he can have it to add the code.

I guess the real questions is how many Gazelle tattoo's do you currently have? Because that's a true sign of an addict. My wife and kids accept that I have my own hobbies. I try to include them in the flying, and slowly starting to get my daughters interested. My youngest has taken to trying to learn how o fly my Millennium Falcon Drone I have (one of the best ones I own, and I dare say indestructible). My oldest enjoys the occasional flight in my cockpit with the rift using the replay feature. My wife enjoys the other VR stuff more. She really likes the VR rollercoaster. I'm not a fan. But she's understanding and has let me have my man cave in the basement.

Exactly why I need an intern. I live near Philly, so EST would be Eastern Standard Time. Or -5 in the timezone thingy.

Not yet...first update will have the sight updated with correct symbology. We'll see after that. Little busy with the multi crew stuff but after that it's all good.

I find I fly much better on helicopters with the rift because I have better sense of depth perception. When you can zoom in and out things change in size and its hard to tell how close you really are to things.

Hoping to add these to my testing map this week.

So it was late last night.....I've been in the pit flying for quite a bit of hours. Had a great time meeting some of you....I think my brain snapped a bit.

Took a flight with Eagle_Rising who happens to be a real helicopter pilot. His masking skills behind terrain is amazing. Wish I could get as good some day.
