  1. Depending on the area and map (remember 1.5.4 isn't fully EDGE yet), I get between 30-90. Closer to the ground in populated cities is closer to 30, up in the sky dogfighting is closer to 90. But in 2.0.2 I've always gotten higher fps around 60-90. So looking forward to 2.5 when everything is fully EDGE. The grass friction test was pretty cool. Wasn't really expecting it and being the one flying and in the Oculus rift - it was pretty scary. As scaling, I could see it being a lot of work. But since I we haven't tried to put more then two people in, not sure how well the engine would handle it. Yes it does. It actually doesn't care if your in single player, multiplayer, or multi crew. It just gets the info from DCS and sends it to the simshaker.
  2. Yes....lots of work before that though.
  3. I was hosting the session. Pat is in the middle of the water somewhere...so his ping isn't the best. But it still worked great.
  4. So were hard working on the multi crew capability and it does require quite a bit of testing. This video was shot today when we had me in the Oculus rift, and Pat just using his normal setup. The video is on the L version, but we are testing all the version and making sure things work as they should. Enjoy, I know I did.
  5. I see your screenshot and raise you a video:
  6. So just finished a long testing day with the crew and one of the tests we ran was one Oculus Rift CV1 pilot and one normal pilot. I flew with the Oculus Rift CV1 and tested both pilot and commander positions. Test went well and was actually scary being in the commander seat with the CV1 on and having someone else fly. But we confirmed that is is possible.
  7. Good luck getting a cupholder...been asking for one for two years now. Apparently the "real" gazelle doesn't have one so we can't get one. Not sure about the fan though.
  8. Lets the basics done and then we'll talk fancy options. Maybe add a seat warmer...maybe a hula dancing girls on the dash....all in good time.
  9. All third-party developers have access to the same tools, so they can add the code for multi-crew in their modules. It's not something that ED just turns on and it works on every module...there is a lot of extra code that needs to be added to make sure everything is synced correctly. Not that I can tell. Not sure it's even possible. Right now we have to keep two cockpits essentially in sync, adding more things to sync could create more issues. We're working hard to get things going....if ED adds the capability to sync the mouse in the future it might get added.
  10. I think it has to be turned off in the missions itself.
  11. Just in case you didn't see it: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2849227&postcount=1
  12. There is science behind it...it's just the recoil were working on tweaking. I'm looking at getting the answer for you from our engineer. But in the meantime, I always close my eyes and let the force flow through me and then pull the trigger. The Death Star blows up and everyones happy.
  13. Not if you provide 3d glasses to everyone. So how's everyone doing on their Pokemon catching? You guys catch them all yet?
  14. See what you really saw was a gas pocket from the planet Uranus during the peak sunspot time. Nothing to see....move along.
  15. And furthermore....you can use the screenshot button even while not flying and it'll take a picture. Just dropping some knowledge on you.
  16. See you guys are just jumping to some very odd conclusions. You see the Polychop crew sometime like to get together with other crews and just hang. Sometimes we even indulge in crew to crew competitions...so we were working on a race we want to try out in our new crew to crew competition night. Nothing to see here...move along.
  17. Call it what you want...just don't call me late for dinner.
  18. Will check it out! Need to figure out how to get the Hello Kitty version in there.
  19. Fill out the issue template from: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2780295&postcount=1 This way we can get more details to look into it. But today I was on MP in 1.5.4 and used auto-hover several times and I wasn't the host.
  20. Will have to fully map all my keys on my controls and pit. I think it'll be a good challenge. I use a trackball that can sit on my left knee when I fly, so it's not too much of a burden to use it....a mouse would be odd during a flight though.
  21. I didn't see anything on the change log for open beta update. Our next update probably won't be until the Mistral is ready for release. So sit tight. I would use JSGME for the init files....I find that even though not every module is update, they sometimes mess with the settings files to make sure things are standard. I actually just picked up a second monitor for my pit (amazon prime day find) so will be looking to configure my own stuff as well.
  22. Yep. We went the files to ED, so next update to the 2.0.2 version it'll get it. Don't forget to tip your waiter....I'll be here all week; try the veal.
  23. Soon™
  24. Have you tried it on any of the 1.5.4 versions? Because that version has some FM changes that might make this issue mute. Otherwise, I'll try to test this weekend to replicate it.
  25. Don't crash the Gazelle. Problem solved.
