Where does it say, remaining submaps will be released in 3 months interval?
-
Will we get new assets for this map? All we have right now are two insurgent infantry units and maybe the two types of technicals (though wrongly clothed). Just the teased new US vehicles won't help to build missions, if we don't have opposing assets or ideally assets like the IEDs from the LLH insurgent pack.

I am sorry, I brought up the discounts, as those are the only official news we got in a long time. And yes, you are very active answering questions, I highly value and appreciate that! My statement was about official news and sorry, there is basically nothing. OP mentioned his impression of there being silence and I share this impression. Nothing more, nothing less.

I agree. Basically there is radio silence from ED's side, except for the "great news" aka "beta is dead, thanks to the streamlined process, be happy if you now get a patch every 6 weeks (which we all know means two months)". Else, the only "news" is of constant sales, which starts to worry several users, me included. Btw, constantly putting stuff on huge discounts is a bad timing, when asking for 3rd party campaign developers to come onboard - just saying. I am curious where this will lead to, but I am definitely not excited about the current developments. But I will be more than happy to be proven wrong.

@scoobie thanks so much It was massive fun creating the mission and great to see people enjoying it

As the title says, a "deselect all" button would be very helpful, when working with the loadout restrictions. Especially on modern planes it is quite time consuming to click each and every item to lock it. Thanks for considering.

I hope you will like the mission, once you fly it

This is the original track and I did not receive any damage. I removed everything unnecessary from the mission to specifically create this bug report track. -
I proudly present my new mission "Operation Cedar Spear" Back to the roots - my very first missions were for the Gazelle, time to create something again. Operation Cedar Spear will bring you to the early phase of the 1982 Civil War in Lebanon. You will fly an ambush in the mountainous terrain of Southern Lebanon in a Syrian SA342L, in an attempt to stop the enemy's advance over the Litani river. Local civilians spotted an enemy convoy and contacted the Syrian military. Syrian special forces plotted the advance and set up an ambush near a strategically important bridge over the Litani river near Nabative. Armed only with light weapons and some RPGs, the team, callsign “Jabali” [Mountain goat] called for additional fire power from the air. The low cloud cover will allow Syrian helicopters to operate in relative safety from enemy fighter jets. Task You will lead a Gazelle two ship formation out of a FARP near Beirut airport on a routine armed patrol along the coastal highway, waiting for further tasking by high command. High command will eventually establish contact between SPEAR flight and Jabali. Your task will be to take out the three heavy M60 main battle tanks in the convoy with HOT3 missiles. After successfully engaging the tanks, you will fly back to the FARP. Key features: * 100+ high quality voice overs * mission is customizeable to suite beginners and advanced players * alternative attack routes availabe (easy/hard) which will change the mission * option to hand over operating NADIR and FM Radio to the virtual copilot * detailed PDF manual included * custom kneeboard * multicrew capable Thanks to ZedTank for the inspiration! Enjoy! https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3336250/

As this was an important landmark during the various battles in Southern Lebanon, please add Beaufort Castle. Thanks for considering

Sorry for the late reply, somehow I don't receive notifications You can fly this as a coop mission with an added aircraft, as long as the player aircraft remains untouched, I.e. weaponry and group/unit name.

Thanks for the insight, that helps a lot -
Operation Horizon - single player or multicrew
Don Rudi replied to Don Rudi's topic in Missions and Campaigns
@KeyserSoze62 thank you so much, this really means a lot to me. I am working on a mission for the Gazelle currently (maybe two). What'd be interesting to me, what makes this mission (Operation Horizon) better or more enjoyable than it's predecessors Operation Hellenic Dawn and Operation David's Trident? Horizon has much awesome feedback compared to Hellenic Dawn for instance, but just half the downloads, which leaves me a little clueless. -
Good, realistic missions for the Apache?
Don Rudi replied to baksie's topic in Missions and Campaigns
I can't say if it is realistic or not - I call it plausible and the feedback is very positive Operation Horizon or this one, based on/inspired by real events Operation David's Trident -
Operation Horizon - single player or multicrew
Don Rudi replied to Don Rudi's topic in Missions and Campaigns
First of all, apologies for the late reply, somehow I did not receive a notification. And thanks so much for this awesome feedback, it means a lot to me. When I made the mission last summer, never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that the whole setting would become realistic. -
Just took both skins for a ride, I like them Two notes, if I may: - you need to mirror/flip the national flag in the pilot patch file, as it is displayed backwards currently. - the area on the aar cover looks like a texture was taken to resemble an open receptacle. I have not seen any RDAF F-16 photos where it looks like this. Maybe you could reconsider and leave the cover in normal fuselage grey? Again, big thanks for releasing these

I am not a skinner, just an average user. But when I saw the request for specific Viper skins, I thought "hey that is an easy one, except for the Danish one these are all available already in great quality". Having them made from scratch instead of using what is available appears a strange approach. To pick just one example - it is ironic that we have one livery artist, who's BAF skins are so outstanding, that the Belgian Air Force (the real one) chose him to design a special livery for their milestone jet (a real flying F-16). A livery, that was shown in aviation magazines around the globe. A livery that meanwhile even is available as a decal sheet so his name will be on scale models worldwide. But his skins aren't good enough to be even considered by ED as default skins and have to be created new by someone else? (no offense to the guy who was chosen!) @Roughmaster @wolfthrower @Kerbo 416 even if ED ignores your skins, be assured, we the users know who you are and WE do appreciate your work and we will continue to use your excellent skins! The headline is "livery policy" not livery police! Your comment is basically a slap in the face of everybody creating any form of content for DCS.

No matter what ED will choose, the skins you listed are the gold standard in the eye of the community. They are and will be the skins used by the vast majority, no matter what is included as a default skin.

Hello, I would like to present my "Operation Iron Hail" - a night time low level runway strike The runway at Aleppo airport will be destroyed in a surprise attack before sunrise on 22 October. A single F-16C, callsign HAMMER 710, will be launched from Ramat David Air Base and conduct a night low level attack using Mk82AIR bombs. Perform a night time low level anti runway strike. Hambollah militia groups in Southern Lebanon and South East Syria are increasing their cross border attacks against Northern Israel. So far the attacks have been limited to mortar fire and light rockets, but now the intelligence services received information that Hambollah acquired a large amount of Iranian made Shahed drones - a serious increase in threat level. The first shipment of these drones is expected by air on the morning of 22 October. The shipments will be routed through Aleppo airport. It was decided to prevent this shipment by conducting an anti-runway strike against Aleppo. The runway at Aleppo airport will be destroyed in a surprise attack before sunrise on 22 October. A single F-15E Strike Eagle, callsign HAMMER 710, will be launched from Ramat David Air Base and conduct a night low level attack using Durandal anti runway bombs. As this is a surprise attack, no friendly elements will be near the Syrian airspace during the ingress phase, in order not to alert the enemy. The egress will be covered by a flight of F-15C Eagles and a pair of F-16C Wild Weasels. Required skills: - operate your radio / select radio channels - night flying Mission highlights: + Randomized mission elements, to keep the mission fun when flying a 2nd or 3rd time + custom ATC (do not use in game ATC!) + various F10 radio options + hand crafted approach chart and maps + single player + two miz files for cold start and hot start + 8 page manual in PDF format + >60 quality voice overs https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3335437/ Enjoy!
