  1. Thx for the link, versy usefull. Is a 4K TV really necessary? Is a Full HD TV not enough to have already a nice resolution while keeping a correct fluidity at FPS level? My GC is a Nvidia GeForce 1080Ti
  2. Same for me, I am building my Mi-24P simpit and I want to switch from a normal PC monitor to a TV screen 55 Inches... Aurelius, I will check for your TV screen but other models used with DCS by other people are more than welcome ! Thxxxx
  3. I totally agree with you regarding the survivability of the next Mi-24. If not realistic (as for the Mi-8) I will for sure select the "immortal" option...:(
  4. +1 Magnificent job !
  5. Ok check on that ! Thxxxxx So I think that I will use my current setting, two VKB items with two different boxes. I don't need brakes and I don't want to set the mess in my current configuration...
  6. I have just bought the T-rudder. I already have the Gunfighter II Pro. I tried to connect both my joystick and the T-rudder on the same black and orange metal boxes but both systems are not reconized by the box. it's one or the other. Afterwards I connected my T-rudder via the black box to an USB port, my gunfighter with his orange box to another usb port and all was working fine... But the purpose of the box is to connect these two elements on only one box...so what I am missing ? Thx for your help.
  7. Indeed, but my metalworker is going to build me a replica of the pedals of the Mi-24. They will be fixed on the VTB T.rudder. ;)
  8. At the end I followed the advice of Svsmokey. The VKB T.Rudder is indeed very well rated for helos... Additionnaly, it's quiet easy to customize and to extend the pedals if necessary. No need to have a breaking system for helos (Mi-8 or Mi-24). Nevetheless, I saw on the forum that's possible to assign a breaking system via the T.rudder and the stick with the VKB programmation software. Just ordered yesterday (T.Rudder in stock on the VKB Europe website)
  9. That's a very good news ! I am waiting for some accessories for My Gunfighter MKII pro since a very long time now.
  10. Yes it was indeed one of my option too (I am using The Gunfighter MKII Pro) and I will probably choose this model if I don't have a positive feedback concerning the OE-XAM model.
  11. Hey, everybody, Following the construction of my simpit dedicated to the next Mi-24P I'm looking for a new rudder. I currently use a Saitek Pro Flight rudder, I have it since several years now; I have never had any complaints but I am looking for a new one... After reading different forums, I've been watching for 3 different models: The Thrustmaster TPR The MFG Crosswind V2 The model from the Austrian company OE XAM. My choice is more on the rudder from OE XAM. The TPR doesn't seem to fully match the helicopter flight. It doesn't look like a helicopter rudder either. The MFG crosswind is very well rated, has many users but doesn't really look like a helicopter rudder either. The model from OE XAM is the best match. It is affordable, DCS compatible, full metal, USB connection and looks totally made for the helicopter (Bell-206 model). http://oe-xam-simulators.blogspot.com/2020/05/34-9-incl.html#more The rudder of the Mi-24 is quite characteristic because the pedals are well spaced out and the model proposed by OE XAM corresponds to this. I even see the possibility to change the feet support to make it longer if necessary. It would also make it possible to make mounts quite identical to the ones found on the HIND. Only one concern, very little return of this item made by OE XAM on the net. If a user on the forum are using it, thank you to give me your opinion concerning precision, positive and negative aspects as well as other information which could comfort me or on the contrary make me give up this purchase. Thank you in advance, Chris
  12. :thumbup::thumbup: Absolutely !
  13. From Helissimer https://www.helisimmer.com/news/eagle-dynamics-new-screenshots-development-report-mi-24?fbclid=IwAR13DUqS4VqbH5kkpkhmInfaXIuV4usxi8SgEux8F9ChalLevJlXtdZlVDA Grodlund : keep the faith my friend, Hind All the way ! Our beast is coming and I bet for a release end of 2020 or begin of 2021. It will be for sure a "Beta version" with no multicrew and all weapon systems up and running (like the F-16 & F-18).
  14. Hi, I've been using a Stream Deck keyboard with DCS for several months now and everything was working perfectly. Yesterday I installed DCS Open Beta 2.6. Stream deck was still working properly. I had a problem with Normandy and Persian golf map, I uninstalled and reinstalled the maps. Since then, everything works fine except that Stream Deck who is no longer recognized by DCS. It is well recognized by the PC, I loaded a new profile, tested the shortcut keys in word. Everything works EXCEPT in DCS? Any ideas? Because right now I'm going crazy, I can't find the problem ! Thxxxxxxx
  15. Small update on My Mi-24P simpit. Because of the quarantine I'm still waiting for the delivery of the seat cushions. These last weeks I have mainly advanced on the ASP-17V aiming system. The main part has been delivered by my blacksmith but still needs to be painted. So I have created the secondary parts that will be placed on it. On the front part I slightly transformed the original model to come and fix my Stream Deck. I also made the landing gear control, the SPO-10 missile warning system and the autopilot buttons. I've become a real fan of my 3D Creality CR-10S Pro 3D printer.
  16. That's another good news ! Even though it may not be implemented in the initial version...
  17. I'm not as pessimistic as you Grodlund I know that, like me, you are looking forward to the Mi-24P since a long time now and that during the past we were both frustrated on the non communication from ED on this famous Mi-24. For my part I see two good news in this last communication. Firstly the Mi-24P is now into active development (which was not the case at the time of Kate's last communication). Release in mid-term. We are talking about nine months. For my part, I always told myself that the end of 2020 was still a good thing. There is now a clear agenda even if there is still a little delay in the release. Let's not forget that the latest screenshots have shown that things have progressed well, at least in terms of graphics. We were still a long way off just a few months ago... So let's keep our hearts up and cross our fingers for more good news. Have the faith my friend
  18. Not everything...:( https://flightsimcontrols.com/product/dust-cover-set/
  19. Last days agenda : - Shopping online - 02Hr flights on the Mi-8 - 3D printing for some parts of my simpit Mi-24 - Playing with my son (Battle of Nerf in our house) - Running 1Hr - Netflix Last days...same agenda:smilewink:
  20. OMG !! YESSSSSSS !
  21. Answer in private message ;)
  22. I also started to build the Mi-24 simpit. My son who is 12 years old is really interested in flight simulation and flies the F-14 from time to time. Helicopter control is more complex but I am sure that he would love taking place of the gunner to destroy everything that moves and fires.:) The problem is not my son but my wife! A double desck cockpit would take a lot of space in our office at home! Mdrrrr But the idea isn't dead... Never surrender!:music_whistling:
  23. Yes, I saw your simpit and you have golden hands ! I am not able to build this stuff by myself. I must concede that I'm worthless in mechanic and electricity :music_whistling: My blacksmith is completing the construction of the ASP-17V and I'm already amazed by the result. I have just changed some measurements in order to place my Stream Deck and my X-key keyboard on it. Pictures will follow but with the coronavirus all is not running as fast that I would... To be continued...
