  1. Nearly pefect... Great job !
  2. Thx for th news and we know that the team is working hard ! They have all our support  A lot of improvements and developments were observed during the release of info shared in one of the last WE Newsletter...
  3. Already done, same issue... As said in my previous message, I will wait for my new simpit and if the module is not running properly I will do a complete new and clean DCS install. I will let you know the result...
  4. Ohhh yeahhhhh
  5. Thx for your help I already tried with the simshaker connected but same issue. Currently I am building a new simpit for the arrival of the Mi-24P and my last option is indeed to restart from a complete new DCS install. I didin't installed new mods since a few months now and the F-14B was running without problems. I noticed that when in mission editor, when you clic on the button for choosing a livrery it takes also around 1s to have the total screen loaded, it was not the case before, and it's also only happening for the F-14B. I think I'll look at it a lot more deeply when my simpit is finished and that all my controllers (imshakers, track IR, sticks,...) are again connected...who knows....
  6. Look on this blog : http://www.andrecantarel.com/ http://www.andrecantarel.com/blog/2016/11/11/mi-24-gunner-cockpit-detailing http://www.andrecantarel.com/personal-work
  7. Update of the Nvidia driver Running from a clean profile on c:username/saved games/.... Same issue I don't know what to do...
  8. Yes every mission. Checked with all maps (mission editor) + instant mission + create fast mission + training Clean profile already done --> no change
  9. My simshaker is currently disconnected and indeed I don't think that's the cause of the crash...
  10. Here you are.. Logs.zip
  11. Hi to all, Well I have several DCS modules installed on my PC and it was a long time since I hadn't flown the F-14B. A few days ago I tried to do a little flight but it was impossible to start the mission. Either DCS crashes during mission loading (80% of the time) or at startup I find myself in the cockpit and after 2s, freezing of the image and crash of DCS. When AI, no worries but when I want to take the controls DCS crash. For info my machine configuration has not changed and I have flown on the F-14B module for months in the past without any problems. Here are already the steps I took to solve the problem but the crash persist ! - Update of the latest Open beta version - Performed a cleaning via DCS_updater.cleanup - Perform a repair via DCS_updater.repair - I have uninstalled the F-14 module and then reinstalled it. - I started from a brand new DCS Openbeta folder in my "Saved Games" profile. Now I confess I don't know what to do! If someone could enlighten me...Thx a lot, Chris
  12. Thxxxx:thumbup: Always nice to see some improvements to this great flying machine !
  13. For sure, it's not a digital map system but it's maybe the best way to represent a paper map with a moving cursor...
  14. Check the video on the Mi-24P above Latakia. You will see that in the paper map is replaced by a digital screen showing the map like a GPS. For sure I will modify the lua file linked to the screens in order to reply this map on a second monitor...;)
  15. The navigation system is only present on the pilot place (doppler navigation system, navigation screen - via the paper map on the dashboard,...). If you are used as an observer in the front seat (gunner), especially in hostiles areas, you can not have your eyes looking on the map inside the cockpit...ok ok , a woman can do...because she can do two things at once ! ;)
  16. - Observation (Better spot than the pilot) - Management of the weapons systems --> aiming+ firing ATGMs - Management of the passive & active defence systems (flares,...) - Radio management ?
  17. You right, but I am sure that some improvements are possible...the Mi8MTV2 is quiet an old module and I hope that ED is able to release a sound 2.0 for the Klimov engine :smilewink:
  18. That's the sound that I want...ok desire...to ear from my Mi-24P simpit... The sound of the Hind in the last movie above Latakia was quiet the same as as the Mi-8MTV2 and I hope that some/major improvements will be added to the module before his release...
  19. Waouwww Great job ! Thx to you for the excellent job...A more immersive terrain. Definitely a must to have !
  20. Fill your fridge, turn off your mobile phone, close the office door and put up a sign: I'm on holiday for a week!! :D
  21. In reality not a screen but just a box where to place your paper map. A cursor is just moving on the map during the flight. You have to calibrate the cursor on the map before your flight. This mapping system seems to more advanced in the DCS module with a digital map...Which is a good thing because I have just placed a 11'' screen in my simpit in order to simulate the mapping or the aiming system of the gunner...:smilewink:
  22. Check ! Is there anyone still flying with it ?:D Just a joke, I know that the L-39 is perfect to start on DCS before flying on more complex machines...
  23. It's in German but google is your friend ! https://www.nva-flieger.de/index.php/taktik/arfk/angriffsverfahren-gefechtsordnung.html
  24. It's maybe one of the most challenging part for ED. Their first real multicrew module. The multicrew F-14 from Heatblur was a very nice surprise and who knows, it will be even better on the Hind...fingers crossed...as Wags said, there's still a lot of work to do!
