  1. That's true and why I didn't mention it in my first post. But hey, it's another option to keep in mind (lol and worth saving for IMO).
  2. Settle down LMAO! Obviously people are at work, flying FC2 or reading their manual and not this thread! I'd like to see it too though I'm not expecting it to be too much different.
  3. The Thrustmaster A-10 HOTAS is definitely on my buy list but only if the reviews come in right. I'd actually recommend waiting until that HOTAS comes out until you make your decision.
  4. I'd recommend the X52 system it's tried and proven and well priced. CH makes great stuff too but IMO is built more for hardcore simmers that don't mind spending an extra buck and need something rugged and reliable for years down the road. My original X52 though, has lasted almost 6 years and has bee good to me!
  5. I really need to read up on things lol! Thanks guys for the info at least I know what type of Win7 to get now and I learned something new too.
  6. Sweet now just waiting for the English version! Patiently of course!
  7. Well I have a E8400 C2D processor, and I really know no better about 64bit OS's!
  8. Just so I understand you CAN use the 64bit version on a NON 64bit system? That's good info to have when I upgrade OS's my system isn't 64bit though.
  9. What about volume fluctuations? I mean where you flying in the pit and everything is nice and full (loud) then you switch to a flyby view and everything goes down a few notches on the volume when you switch back to the pit. It's frustrating for me because I play with 5.1 speakers for all sound and then a headset for comms not to mention the Buttkicker bass shaker. I get all this fine tuned in while starting the bird; get comms to good level vs sound from speakers and the shaker shaking. Then the volume goes low and I have to dial things in again. Later when the sound goes back to the higher volume I find myself scrambling to turn the sound down on my headset, speakers and bass shaker. But its not a big deal and that particular issue is hit and miss. I can live with it.....
  10. Yeah good to use the "Clear All" assignments in the X-52 category. Pre-programmed key assignments within the game can cause all kinds of problems, not to mention they're badly assigned to begin with.....
  11. Oh this might be good for my 5.1 and Buttkicker bass shaker! Looking forward to hearing more of this!
  12. Be cool to have like the Rise of Flight map of France!
  13. Yeah why move forums? But at least we know one thing: Two Weeks for sure!
  14. The best looking water feature can only be enabled with nVidia Cards (can't remember why) but the highest settings you can get with all other cards is not far behind. Il2 is a great looking sim for being as old as it is!
  15. Nice work Rocketeer really nice work!
  16. Cool pics and screenshots. Good thing the enemy can't shoot downed pilots....... And Dr. Pepper &%*$ Yeah! FC 2.0 is gonna rock for combined ops. We gotta get together more often online and play as a big group way too much fun.
  17. LOL NVM then I joined them from the comfort of my home in Northern California!
  18. Arrgggghh! Photos LOL, that's right! I may have taken a screen shot or two all bad probably. Doesn't the game save track files for online missions? Maybe I can get some SS's from there.
  19. Great time flying with everyone, we'll have to do this more often, hell we should plan an online meet up once a month. Couldn't make it to the flight line on Sunday had a interior door to paint and install as well as my Dad's 62nd B-Day, though I tried!. But yeah was a total blast working as a team with so many pilots! LOL totally missed that you guys had a webcam set up!
  20. Already have, I was just using it as an example since both are in relatively the same price range. I agree though, based on user reviews the G940 isn't worth a mention.
  21. I think its better to wait and see. I won't jump up and down until I see good reviews but given theres a bit more to this HOTAS than the cougar it's worth the benefit of doubt. Plus with the G940 and X65F out whats a little more money to spend? I think it's not budget simmers these products go after but the guys who build simpits and drop loads of cash. I'm a budget simmer but that doesn't mean I can't save cash in the piggy bank!
  22. Sorry forgot to add [/sarcasm] tags to my post. I know its been highly speculated though. I'll pay $400 if it's a quality product but that's me!
