  1. Yes Jetseat device must be very cool and add realism. Still, vibration near stall is realistic with FBW plane like for exemple the A10c : in landing configuration (flaps full down) the A10c stick vibrates, in DCS with FFB like in real life (it's supposed to help pilot flaring the aircraft). But more important, FFB offers the change of neutral stick position when trimming (like in A10c pitch and roll, or F18c only pitch in landing configuration), and FFB offers the change in stick forces - of course with aerodynamic forces (like in any non FBW aircraft) - but also with some FBW aircraft like F18c (stick forces change per G : full stick backward gives around 3.5 G at 250knots but more than 7 G past 450 knots. Plus over 22° AOA the forces increase again). It's not implemented in DCS F18 but is supposed to be in futur.
  2. Yes ! DCS Hornet early access guide page 134 : "General Purpose Bombs (Mk-80 series): • MFUZE = NOSE • EFUZ = INST Canister Munitions (CBU and Mk-20) • MFUZE = VT o HT to 1500 • EFUZ = INST Laser and GPS Guided (GBU series) • MFUZE = OFF • EFUZ = INST or DLY1 HT Option. For the Early Access release, the Mk-20, CBU-99, and CBU-100 canister weapons default to use FMU-140 fuses. This is a fixed-setting fuse with an arming time of 1.2 seconds after release." As specified, for Canister Munitions you must set EFUZ to OFF instead of INST because early access FMU-140 fuses. INST setting messes up the fuses. EDIT : sorry I missread forum section.
  3. It seems to be also confirmed here : "All formats can be displayed on all displays, except the RDR ATTK and FLIR formats cannot be shown on the AMPCD" If source is valid ? ( https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/F/A-18C#Digital_Systems_Overview ) DCS F18c early access guide only says "capable of providing any MENU selectable format except the A/G RADAR display" so it will probably be modified.

The "ufo" incident at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana, 1967, with 7 officers' affidavits and declassified documents. At this time, with 1 week between two incidents, all the nuclear missiles of two strategic sites - Echo Flight and Oscar Flight - were disabled during 24 hours, following "ufos" incursion on the bases. Full conference of the 7 officers at national press club 2010 : The declassified documents relatives to this incident : https://www.theufochronicles.com/2010/10/ufos-nukes-connection-press-conference.html#cross-section

I mean between realizing phenomenon is true, and knowing all the truth / having contact like you say, there is only beliefs. It has been demonstrated scientificly since a long time (70s ?), following observation of more than supersonic ufos doing no shockwave, that it's possible with principle of "magneto-hydrodynamic". Experiments demonstrate that in water with low energy needs, and in atmosphere with maybe 100s or 1000 greater energy needs, you can move fast and suppress shockwaves or stern/bow waves for a boat. Here in water : The principle is to electryze the fluid environnement at short distance, and apply Laplace EM forces on it, so you make the fluid environnement moving around the device. The discovering of this principle is as old as year 1900. Scientific calculs guive a max speed, using this principle, of 17000Km/h (10500Mph) in thick air. Allegedly (scientifics talking to others talking to public...) USA own 2000Km/h underwater torpedos using this. Video in english showing the principle applyed to an aerodyne ("ufo") : This principle does not cover all the spectrum of what "ufos" are capable of, but only moving high speed with no shockwave.

This joke is really sweet  I hope freehand took it well.. I think that this idea, that come from scientific study, just shortly push away a sensible topic : apparition of life. If you track this external "seeding principle" (if Truth) long enough you will face life apparition at a point. It seems very possible concerning specific forms of life (like tardigrade, that can survive space, cosmic radiations, etc...). But other facts shows possibility of other means : Nobel awarded for work on AIDS Luc Montagnier has prooven (but this has not being relayed by general academic science) DNA can be electro-magnetically coded, and held in water that in certain circumpstances emit EM of what it was in contact with. He does DNA transduction 100% in lab, and made a documentary in wich, with EM perturbations due to cameras and studio lights, the transduction works at 97%. (DNA sample is put in water, water is diluted to exponent 7 to 10, water emits "DNA" EMs, EM is recorded, sent to an other lab by internet, emitted to distillated water, this water is put in contact of enzyme that construct DNA + ADN basis - A G C T - and original DNA is reconstructed). The Doc (french) : Life may possibly being an answer to apparition of Life's condition (possibly near every Star…). And not necessarly phisically travelling.
  7. On the 3 targets at WPT1, I had 1 bomb that missed. 4 bombs used. First I destroyed antenna, then the Tigr, and first bomb on SPK-11 missed. I dropped a second one that did hit. The track of this is over 7.5Mb, even compressed. The thing I found funny about this SPK-11 (probably no relevance), is that the point track of flir did lock on the top of the vehicle, not on the center like for exemple the Tigr.
  8. Maybe all VR options are not fully setted up ? In DCS VR menu, you have to tick "use mouse" and "limit cursor to game window" (maybe it's other words but you should find it) - if not you may click outside of mirror window and "focus" switch to desktop, causing DCS to hang on. In this VR menu you also can enable touch controllers I think if you want.
  9. Looks like putting a dot in the file name does mess up the extension recognization (your file is recognized as a "19" file instead of TRK file, probably because there is a .19 at the end of your track name) Try to remove any dots in track name but maybe it's definitely messed up ?
  10. And I assume that it concerns multiplayer, so a track is difficult to make. All I can say is try to replicate in singleplayer to make a short track for Moderators to look at, if possible of course ?

self realizing that "ufo" phenomenon is real, and is in fact unidentified flying/swimming/space navigating VEHICLES (inhabited or not) and that "ufo" exist since as long as human race memory is a good thing. It's nice to share proofs about it because proofs exist actually. (proofs that they are vehicles, way more potent than publicly known human tech, able to take control of nuclear arsenal, etc...) The next step can only be beliefs, and that's when I think, at least for me, it's more than uncomfortable to openly talk about, and worst than all being affirmative… but it's just me.
  12. I only use monitor for mission editor, not for playing ( ;) ) but I voted yes because I sympathize
  13. No trouble here but 2 questions : 1) "CODE: **** (of your choice via UFC)" Yes but of course the code must match your TGP (1688 by default if you Don't change your TGP laser code) ? 2) Do you attack a Moving target ? If so you have to refresh your "TDC depress" before launching, or the CCRP will be OFF your target because it's actually a static point, so if your target moves and your first "TDC depress" is too long ago, it will be too much OFF of your target and the LGB will never catch the laser.
  14. Background doesn't empeach wingman radio calls in addition. But I don't know - not tested yet. But if you can't change volume or shutt down by turning radios off, then it's background.
  15. In this mission (strike fighter) I assume the sound is not activated by "radio transmission" trigger, but "play sound" trigger. So it's just backgrounded played and you can't interfere with it, by opposition to "radio transmission" which is tied to a radio frequency so you can set or not, and change volume. You can play your downloaded .ogg file using "radio transmission" instead of squelch. (the way described by GazAce in this same thread : https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4064134&postcount=26 ) Beware that the frequency choosen to play the sound become unusable for other comms.
  16. Maybe an issue caused by a relation between resolution settled in DCS menu, or desktop, used for mouse area, and the resolution in HMD or mirror ? You can try, if this option is unticked, to tick "mouse cursor limited to game window" (sorry : from french translation) in DCS VR menu. You can also try, when ingame with your HMD, to put the mirror on your screen to full screen, with Alt + Enter. This way the mouse can't click anything else than ingame screen. I hope you should be good with one or the other possible solution.
  17. I find convenient to just play the "radio ambience" on an unused AM radio frequency. This way you can tune the volume at your convenience, and it doesn't interfere with a working radio channel (ATC, Awacs or anything). And you can just not setting this ambience frequency if you don't want it, or want to use your 2 radios for mission purpose. (ex : air comms (1) + awacs (2). And when out of duty you can set again the "ambience" frequency). I've extracted the .ogg files from the F18 red flag iron hand mission with winzip and use them they are cool.
  18. OK thank you Nineline. I use Flir on AMPCD only because it's convenient when sun is low, AMPCD is sheltered.
  19. Hi, the hornet comes directly with 1 Campaign, 21 quickstart missions (if you have all maps, only caucasus is 8 missions), 76 single missions (if you have all maps, only caucasus is 29 missions), and 20 training missions. You have DCS base software so you already have the CVN-74 Stennis. Futur SuperCarrier will be a separate module.
  20. Hi, I think there is a bug now with AMPCD + Flir for choosing options (point track, aera, etc...) Usually you have to push "sensor hat" in the direction of the screen you use (left or right DDI or AMPCD) to change tracking options. It works for DDIs but not for AMPCD : push sensor down when AMPCD is selected does nothing, I have to push left. Its ok if left DDI is not selectable (with Jdams/Jsows menu for exemple), but if I am in MavE menu then push sensor left select left DDI (+ change the track option in AMPCD Flir). So I think it's a bug. Short track joined. ptrk-bug.trk
  21. Hi, I largely prefer how VR zoom was before last update (introducing fast VR zoom). For zooming to exterior of cockpit I feel no issue, but for zooming inside cockpit, to see instruments, it's a pain. Much too fast. (eye strain) Please put an option in VR menu for fast or slow zoom.
  22. Yes they would benefit THE MOST (because aerodynamic forces directly on stick). But I don't know if any modern FBW plane exists for real without a forcefeedback unit coupled to it (Edit : F16 of course). In fact some modern planes are very rich concerning FFB - the hornet for exemple. And not only for the stick ! (crazy but the throttle is also forcefeedback for ATC to work)
  23. Hi. Very nice video. I welcome your involvement in trying to make flight control devices manufacturers to develop force feedback controls. My MS FFB2 is begging for retirement.
  24. Bump. With coming A10c upgrade is the pilot body in F1 view planned ? If no can it be considered ?
  25. Out of 4 Gbu-38, sometimes one see a cat on its pass and change target for it.
