Not true at all ... most mil planes have rods/cables running along the side walls of cockpit ;) Even F111 has rods on the ride side

Actually it's the opposite... without arm supports for the side stick pilot would not be able fly as well (endurance) as with center stick. It is less ergonomic. Center stick also has on the plus side that it gives you better visual cue besides being able to use it with both hands. That being said, any negative side can be overcome by training, so in the end if the pilot is well used, there are no noticable penalties in pilot's performance in either way.

I could not get this to work in either 1.5.8 or 2.2 ... what is the procedure beside editing files? Also a question, if it reloads every 10 seconds, does this mean if I add/edit WPT will it be overwriten in this reloading cycle?

In last redflag, I was unable to rewrite the cartage flightplan on B3. The degree number always displayed 00 while minute and seconds were correct. I've tested this a few times now to recreate and it is not consistant. Sometimes everything is OK, sometimes past B1 degrees are not set.

based on what you had written, i would go for viggen as it offers different experience as A10... but if that's not what you want, then it is indeed best to wait.

that's a mistake... that's rwr antenna. None russian fighter radar has a separate illuminator.

The funny thing is, DCS by itself does not mean that FM is great... it is up to developer's competence. Remember Hawk? So getting all wet because of an aerobatic plane in the DCS is naive. M3 cannot even finish Mig21 FM, yet you are so sure this will be the best ever aerobatic plane? I hope you are right ;)
