So I recently noticed (once being prompted with it) that the LITENING pod has received new textures, however, they TGP is now blue instead of gray. It looks really off putting and just weird. I hope this can be fixed in the near future. Example: Ingame: IRL:

I am having a similar issue, where the ground is white in both BHOT, WHOT and CCD making it near impossible to spot targets unless zoomed in to the max level and actually looking out of the cockpit to spot them and place the TGP over it.

It is not, if i remember correctly the displays the F-16CM Block 50 from 2007 cannot display color

I hear a lot of things too, but that doesn't mean that they are always correct :smilewink: If someone has some more accurate information about this i would love to know.

Anti-Ship was never really a priority for USAF so it has never added any anti-ship weapons to it's aircraft (for except maybe the heavy bombers), as the US Navy already to do those kinds of missions (cuz well they on the sea). AFAIK AGM-84's were only used on foreign sold F-16's not on the USAF ones

Yeah hoping that too. I really wouldn't mind if we get the LITENING first if that is just easier to make and have the SniperXR come like 6 months later. If that is what they need to make it a proper fuctioning thing i am all for it. And if we don't get it due to lack of documentation then so be it I guess, at least we will have a proper Gen III pod

It has not been decided yet that we won't get the SniperXR, it is currently in limbo and can still be added back. they are just having a discussion about it.

So what is now the point of getting the F-16C instead of the F/A-18C Hornet, apart from the "But it is an F-16" part. It now lacks in stand off munitions, it already lacked in anti-ship. I don't see why it needs to be 1000000% accurate and have playability of the module suffer because of it. The removal of JASSM i can get behind as that was introduces much later, but JSOW is only a year (if it even is a full year, and not early 2008 ) later then the DCS version (if it didn't take them 2008/2009 to upgrade the entire fleet).

According to this article the F-16C Block 50's did indeed receive the AGM-154 JSOW http://www.f-16.net/f-16_versions_article9.html got any actual proof to back this up?

Just to confirm as i couldn't find this anywhere, is it currently already possible to lase targets with the Predator UAV for aircraft like the A-10C?
