  1. make sure you set the TGP in A-TRK or P-TRK with TMS Right or Up respectively and it should move
  2. you will be able to change between a clean and a weathered cockpit via the special options
  3. Small update, it does seem to turn on once you cycle MFD pages. but as long as you don't do that the page will say TGP OFF
  4. When doing a hot start in the Viper (both from parking as well as from runway) the Right HDPT switch for the TGP is turned off, when turning it on (both prior to or after take off) the TGP does not turn on and the MFD keeps reading TGP OFF. Track is attached TGP_not_turning_on_latest_OB.trk
  5. I know I 1000% will!!!
  6. I was talking about the SE's APG70 over the Legacy Hornet's 73. This is from an F-15E Pilot/WSO in RB's discord: "The APG-70 has a true SAR Hi Res patch match capability that the F-16 and -18 do not. I don't claim to be a radar or tron expert - but my understanding is the -16 and -18 radars use a Poor Man's trick using EXP to take a hi res snapshot. But they are nowhere near the fidelity of the SE's SAR maps. It's almost Google Earth Satellite quality." This was mostly in reply to kaoqumba original message btw.
  7. And don't forget the fact that some F-15E SME's have said that the Strike Eagle's AG radar is a ton better than a hornet's AG Radar (Super Hornet AG radar is more similar to the SE's one). So it would also be weird for a legacy hornet to have such a "great" resolution.
  8. What is the volume of the TCN and ILS set to on the left audio panel? If they are all the way down/off the TCN and ILS are turned off, so you want to make sure that dial is at least a little bit open.
  9. You keep saying that but ED has never said you need to keep a legacy version of DCS to keep flying the old A-10C, they have said they will maintain both version, but don't expect anything drastically to the old A-10C (like the last 5 years.....). Maybe wait for some official news first
  10. I don't get why UGRA should be held accountable for anything... The map looks great, runs great, and is overal more enjoyable than The Channel Map from ED imo.
  11. This is what we know so far based on discord conversations with the RB guys and facebook images: Confirmed ordnance: A2A: AIM-9M/P/X, AIM-120B/C, AIM-7M/MH A2G: GBU-10, GBU-12, GBU-15, GBU-24, GBU-27, GBU-28, GBU-31, GBU-38, MK-82, MK82SE, MK-84, CBU's, AGM-65, JSOW (will be placeholder until SDB is modeled), GBU-39 SDB TGP: LANTIRN and LITENING Not included: AGM-84, AGM-45, AGM-88 Maybe: JHMCS, Sniper TGP, AGM-130 Likely: GBU-54
  12.
  13. A stupid question but did you align your INS properly?
  14. Absolutely incredible!!! Even more so that you guys at UGRA listened to us (the community) and decided to include Cyprus, keep up this amazing work and we all can't wait for the release!!
  15. JDAM yes. Sniper not so much, in the end it is just another TGP...
  16. This is brilliant, hats off to UGRA :thumbup:
  17. I 100% agree with you. not modeling anything would be a very big shame.
  18. As mentioned above turning on GUN PAC and then use the 2 stage trigger will stabilize it. But I can see you are new on the forums (and maybe to DCS as well) so as a tip maybe read the product guides first, there is a lot of info in there. Alternatively check out Chuck's guides (just google that)
  19. Ah I see you made your way from bitching on the Harrier subforum to over here, welcome and please put away your constant negativity and bashing... The Harrier is in fact pretty good to fly and use systems wise!
  20. YES!! Really happy about this!
  21. Can you blame them? Jester is already crap at doing A2A let alone A2G. How do you think you will get your AI WSO to pick the correct tank or building out of a group?? AI might work oké when all they have to do is a look at a radar screen and call out targets (like in the F-14, since it is a RIO not a WSO) but not at spotting the correct target out of a group/area. WSO’s are a lot more involved in ordnance employment than an F-14 RIO (which is why an AI there is kinda oké). In the end you will end up struggling and fighting more against the AI than it being a useful thing. I think it saves us and especially RAZBAM a lot of headaches by not including it. And in the end the community is never happy, because they’ll all grab their pitchforks and torches again if RB did include an AI and it was crap as well....
  22. Thanks for some great insight Dances! And YES, THIS TOTALLY:
  23. Correct, but it does have INS which allows it to be fired at coords, then the radar homing seeker will take care of the terminal phase of the missile
  24. Because of how the wing is structured internally? It is a lot thicker/stronger than the wings of say an F-18 or F-16.
  25. It does have a memroy/GPS mode though, POS mode on the F-16C (and called something different on the Hornet). So the only thing the LD-10 brings on the table is speed and RCS. Yet the JF-17 lacks any form of HTS or ability to link up with an RC-135 to share radar threat data.... Just because the JF has a newer missile doesn't make it a better SEAD platform.
