Are there any new or different options in GUI for lighting or effects?

Have you tried copying and pasting saved config folder into new one?

Even with new install you could have corrupt file in Saved Games folder. Before deleting it you copy and rename it so you can then place folders back into it like control settings. Copy, zip, and attach Logs from here-Windows C. / Users / (your named folder) / Saved Games / DCS / Logs

Weapon overlay was moved to kneeboard. You can't bring it up like AI panel or controls indicator anymore.

Something to try. In control panel/system settings/virtual memory check the box to "automatically manage paging file size".

If the A.I. could do more like tactically advance or find cover and if you could control how intensely they attack each other missions like this could work better. It would be great to set up a skirmish on the ground and be able to provide CAS without them blowing each other to bits in 30 seconds.

One thing that helps is pre-setting your "hands off position" with trimmer to counter the forces of the helo when taking off. Bring up the controls indicator (R.Ctrl+Enter) Press trimmer, pull back and to the right a little and add a little r. rudder, and release trimmer This gives you a little better starting point

All of the training, single missions, and campaigns that come with modules take place in the Caucasus map (1.5 version). Instant action and single missions for FC3 are all that's available in NTTR for free. There are a few DLC campaigns available.

Onboard graphics are typically woefully inadequate for running DCS.

Either way more new pics with water would be nice to see.

I think these 2 have the new water effects.

I think the F5 makes a good trainer. Has several systems and gauges in common with Warthog.

I'm sure we'll get the obligatory cold start, takeoff, grd attack, and dogfight missions but beyond that not sure. Campaigns will probably be DLC. The WWII planes got very few missions to begin with so hopefully they do provide some more detailed ones.

No. The Mig 21 should now act like any other module and not cause problems when updating.

I stumbled across something when entering UTM coordinates into CDU. I've always done a 4 step process of entering info. 1. Toggle L / L to UTM 2. Enter coordinates 3. Name waypt. and click upper right button to enter 4. Click 3rd button down on right (?1) to enter/save info as that number waypt. After I entered coord., I typed in waypt name (tgt1) and accidentally clicked the ?1 button instead of upper right button and it named and saved it correctly.
