  1. Another great randomized mission.:thumbup: Haven't seen any evil spawning manpads yet. Are there any air defense units in this one? Did have one issue where enemies seemed to want to cross the river but couldn't so they just drove around in circles. Screenshots for location. Another time enemies didn't move at all but I assumed that they aren't always on the move.
  2. I'm not sure I would describe the Frogfoots engines as massively powerful. It's capable of Mach .8. Su-27 is capable of Mach 2.35.
  3. LSS/LST seems useful. Have to see how well that works.
  4. I've yet to see the rear gunner expend a single round of ammunition.:(

  7. That changes the laser code but not the GBU code.
  8. I can't figure out how to change laser code on GBU 12's to match a drones laser code for instance. Looked through manual and DSMS profile pages but can't find spot to change it. Any one tried doing this before?
  9. Guess we'll be hearing this in our sleep soon. Seeing all the pics and live streams I was beginning to wonder if ED had overdone it with trees surrounding every farm field look. Scanning a Normandy satellite view of area it does look exactly like that. Spot on. Great job ED!:thumbup:
  10. Did the P47-30 use the triple bazooka launcher M8 rockets, HVAR's, or both? How many bombs could a P47-30 carry?
  11. The only difference I can think of is missile warning system. A-10C has a series of beeps instead of "Missile 6:00 low!".
  12. Switching from first version to 2nd version of DCS World has been and will continue to be a bumpy ride. When the "Merge" occurs I think it will be much smoother sailing.... or flying.
  13. I think the flashing was just a temporary bug. In last 2.0 changelog it refers to bomb fall line on Russian aircraft fixed. Wont flash anymore. Testing it I see no flashing line. It does seem like they adjusted how the ccip pipper appears. Seems it doesn't pop up as quickly.

  15. They've said giving the map a "lived in" look is what they're working on now.
  16. Options / Gameplay/Avionics language-English should do it then. This is what you get with no mod
  17. Under Options/Special there's a box to check for custom cockpit liveries
  18. Have you tried CA in Caucasus map. You might find training missions there.
  19. I don't own combined arms but I assume you just need to get into mission editor and click on a ground unit and change skill level to player. Start mission and you should be in that vehicle.
  20. I'd say try setting up a battle with "create fast mission". Only issue is ground units aren't given routes like they get in 1.5 so you'll have to do that manually.
  21. Sounds like they're working fine. Basically works like this. 1 Bomb drops and opens up to drop parachuted sub munition 2 Submunition gets propelled upward after reaching ground 3 Multiple skeets eject out of sub munition, start spinning around seeking a heavy metal object 4 If found detonate and propel towards armored target a 20 second video of real thing Although they're altitude and wind corrected they're not a smart bomb....

  23. What I did for FC3 was set up one basic profile for throttle and flightstick. Click on each column then save each as stick or throttle. Switch to next plane profile you want to edit. Click on column you want to edit. stick or throttle Select load profile and choose corresponding saved profile You don't need to save them all. Just pressing OK at bottom saves.

  25. They wont show up in mod manager with fresh install but yes you can find them in your profile by logging in on DCS homepage.
