Well I think I’ve been able to nearly achieve trackir quality and clarity when recording VR
It still has to do with this technique found in my all things vr video
But I turned my monitor sideways so the desktop mirror was even larger at 1.6 PD it is nearly 3800 pixels in height and I don’t really need to stretch the window much in OBS
To give the guy the benefit of doubt it could have been a bad casting, but I’ve been using these every day for a month, and at times with some force and everything holds up fine, no signs of wear, stress, etc
Basically just make sure there is no tension on the ball join in the retracted and extended position of the toe brake. In some configurations when adjusting the 2 adjustment points of the toe brake angle you can get the ball joint to bind when either retracted or fully extended, the excess strain could cause an issue on both the join and adjustment point.
2 adjustment positions pointed out in this image
There are to many factors at play. I'm wrapping up my review on them and should have it ready to go hopefully sometime over the long weekend. But I will say I feel like this failure was either an unfortunate defect, someone not being truthful and actually hammering on them, or improper setup (something I point out in my review... and quite possibly the issue here) ... stay tunes :)
Thrustmaster sent me a review set so I’ll be giving them a thorough review myself, but giving them a couple weeks before I do, get some good use out of them before I fully make up my mind so stay tuned to my YouTube channel if you want my opinion before buying :)
Look at the briefing for the carrier heading, subtract 10 for the final bearing for case III. If the briefing doesnt show BRC for the ship, you need to figure it out with the F10 map unfortunately.
Blue Flag, F99th are my first choices. Blue Flag when Im feeling cooperative, F99th when I want a chill night. I play others if there is a population.... would really love a populated cold war server in my time zone.
You are technically suppose to level break then stay at 800' till you are on speed, then descend. I imagine in practice once you get good you can do it all at the same time.
Just some notes in inaccuracies
Marshal Stack starts at 2000'
600' AGL should be reached by the start of the approach turn
Hook should be lowered before entering the recovery pattern (3nm DME), not on downwind
Groove is 15-18 seconds
Touch and Go Bolter should be fly dirty on BRC to 600' 30 deg aob at interval (meaning if others are in the pattern, make sure you are in interval with them)
It defaults to the minimum, so no need to change, was more only pointing out you could go higher than 20. It you want to change it you have to do it through server.lua i believe in the saved games folder.
