  1. Yes I actually did this in vr, just recorded the replay for quality
  2. Hah, i should have said it's almost here huh? But i mean, it's finally here .... for...me.... *hidesunderarock*
  3. Haha that would be a great ongoing joke!
  4. Just realized i should have stuck this in the F/A-18 thread.
  5. The only F/A-18 video I will make.... till it's released Enjoy
  6. Meaning you want to capture both left and right eyes? You can open the oculus mirror, unsure if you can take direct screenshots from there, you can read about it here https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/pcsdk/1.14/concepts/dg-compositor-mirror/
  7. what are you seeing? that might help us help you in determining how to take the picture.
  8. This so much, I would love this. With the restriction of, if you move your head to far and the mouse is about to be out of view, it moves with your head then. Kinda like, it must always be in view, but within the view doesn't move with your head movement. This way it doesnt get lost.
  9. The last thing in my video explains how to do this in OBS and to have your nVidia card emulate 4k on a 1080p screen.
  10. Thanks, I wish i could get my hands on those other sticks (VKB, Virpil, etc) would be nice to do reviews on them as well, unfortunately I cannot afford to be buying all of them up and paying for the shipping to the states on the all, maybe one day in the future (not to mention they seem to be out of stock quite often, probably a good thing)
  11. I know this has been out for a while but I got my hands on one so I gave it a try, and here are my thoughts HD3WcCWRhwI
  12. You guys take this shit to seriously. Maybe the DM is broken... but this is FC3, the fidelity is no where near as good as some of the other modules, and to be quite honest i would never expect it to be. Maybe when we get the F-15E it will be better, but c'mon now... FC3, I doubt that will ever happen. If you want to raise a point about the DM being messed up, do that with DCS proof, not IRL. Setup a mission with a friend, fire missiles of different types at them, do some statistical analysis, and then try on other air frames that are similar... SU-27, J-11, Mig-29... Try and show that the F-15 IS in-fact OP rather than just stating that it is your belief based on incidents that happened in MP. You need to also realize net latency can play a role in what you see vs what really happened, so do it in a MP setup with low latency, and high, see if there is a difference.
  13. SecureTeam10 called, they want to talk to you about this story.
  14. Trimmed down highlights/how-to of re-greasing my warthog on my stream. [Youtube]GcoghjJK1eU
  15. But was not lucky enough to be 1 of the 11 :( Oh well.
  16. As I understand it, it is initially NDA but also only 11 people, so pretty slim chance but who knows
  17. Check this out
  18. It’s most likely your rift, I’ve had this before, are the dots or hue of the dots red?
  19. Just a heads up, from IRL pilots they say you generally cant see the whole hud in real planes... and its can be frustrating. (just relaying a message)
  20. Has nothing to do with VR, only your monitor, what is the native resolution of your monitor?
  21. Looks like i was not 1/11 people chosen for testing, lol, 11 people, seems like such a fail (no im not bitter). I wrote to Pimax and they said they were done with the selection process. So unfortunately, I also need to wait and hope that its good.
  22. Ya unfortunately for VR this is just how it is. When you screenshot DCS just dumps the left eye render target to disk. Anything else could be more expensive (though probably not a huge expense). Ideally, if we could resize the window to fit our screen (not alt+enter) so that it properly cropped the view like other games (Elite Dangerous, Project Cars, VTOL VR, etc) perhaps then taking a screenshot can just dump the already cropped view from the mirror to disk, but till then this is what we have. P.S. I have reported a feedback item to allow resizing of the window, along with examples, so hopefully one day :)
  23. Suppose to, we will see, I bugged them about it recently Hi Jabbers, Thanks for your interest in PImax VR. Since we are busy in making improvement on our product, we will update you in the future. Please be advised. Best regards, Pimax Seemed pretty stock, but prior to that I got Hi Jabbers, Thanks for letting us know. We have added a note. The shipping plan will be updated soon. Best regards, Pimax
