I would if i could afford it, for me it would be the bigger package because I dont have a vive and would need the lightboxes. Also, im not 100% sold on pimax, their prior product was junk, and while I see plenty of promise in this one, my main focus for VR is DCS, and without a review specifically for DCS, its just to much money and I'm not a huge gambling man ;) It seems like some people here have backed it, so I'll wait for their feedback and start saving now.

Been getting a lot of VR questions lately on various topics, so I thought I would just make a single video explaining everything I know. Hope this helps some of you with either graphics settings, vr zoom and/or vr streaming/recording. Enjoy!

Do you have Moltar's Mod Pack? Cause a prior version caused this issue, and you should update it if you do.

Ya i have 2 of them for work, no problems, but Hololens doesnt remove the real world, its AR, not VR. If your whole world is removed its different, try a standup game with GearVR, you will see what I mean ( ohhhh there arent any :) )

Hah Snacko thats a new one, ya remove reshade it doesnt work in VR anyway. Not sure what that is tho, never seen that.

Well the desktop mirror is slightly distorted to fit the distortion the lenses cause. But i find mine fine to see, but mine fits a 4k monitor, so that probably helps a lot.

I've yet to see "Inside-out tracking is built into your headset" feel as good as outside tracking. Precision is to important, long term use (for me) of inside out tracking tends to bring VR sickness with it (and i dont really get VR sickness). We will see what the critics say when its released.

I have a track on 2.1 and when I replay it, the tacview doesnt show the last 10 minutes, any way around this? I need the tacview from the last ~15 minutes... so i get 5 of them, but not the whole thing.... very frustrating.

I stretch it so the left and right sides touch them right click Transform - Center to screen

Ya, you wanna get over VR sickness, do it in the huey, nothing makes you sicker quicker. I dont ever get motion sickness, not on a boat, not on a train, not on a plane, no i wont eat green eggs and ham... sorry got carried away. Anway, the huey tho, man, sometimes, not sure what it is, but sometimes i get the sweats from this thing so i switch to a plane.

I'm probably old school, i just start it via cmd line, dcs --force_disable_VR Yes I use the mouse to click things. I personally just launch it via my desktop. Welcome the the world of VR! I've been playing dcs for over a year nearly every day in Vr and the emmersion is still amazing. You will never go back to a monitor! Since your questions were already pretty much answered I just want to throw in a few things. Pixel density does help with clarity, but it adversely affects spotting targets at a distance. I keep mine at around 1.5 because of this. Another thing is the resolution defined in your settings does nothing when playing in VR, so set it to whatever you want, it will not affect anything. If you have more questions don't hesitate to ask.

I don't know the USAF one so not sure. I was just given PDF links :) He is in training for F-18 or better right now.

It's obviously Navy specific, but most stuff translates just fine. I'm also using this because it will translate 100% into carrier ops once we get the 14, 18 and AV-8B. Also, the idea is that its "Generalized", don't really need to be 100% accurate, its a sim but its still a game to me. If someone wants to take it to the next level, by all means have at it. I just felt there was a larger majority of people who didn't want to go that far into it, but wanted some sort of knowledge on the subjects.

I made my oculus home require administrative rights to launch, its always off, and i never turn on steamvr unless im playing a steamvr game.

It's been like this for months (4-5? now) I've talked to the devs, they dont seem to give a shit. Have told me multiple times now, we know, we will look at it when we can... and they never do so this app to me is useless.
