Ya that kind of crap is really annoying. If you dont have product that is immediately available to ship, dont put "5 left" on your website.

The deal is, i get a product for review, that product is what i review. Comparing it to another product of which I paid my own money for gives slight bias to the viewer which is why it is left out. I explained the issues going on with this company from what I've heard from community members, This was not hidden in any way. if the viewer chooses to watch part of the video and not the whole thing and make a judgement call that's on the viewer. If the viewer watches the whole thing and still order the product even after I recommend that you don't, that is also on the viewer. I get that some of you are pissed about purchasing this and not receiving it for so long... I sympathize. But my job as it relates to an agreement with Realteus was, they send me a product, I do a review on it and that is what I've done. The format I've chosen is this, and I will not change it because of a bad product review and because people feel they were cheated, something that again is not my fault.... but i sympathize.

My settings for the most part are exactly the same in DCS. I have the pimax 5k+ now but i stopped using VR cause the performance is atrocious, even at lower settings and i dont have time to do all the crazy tweaking everyone is doing now a-days just to get VR to work. So till there are some solid VR performance improvements that actually make a difference, I will be playing on my monitor.

I have the older jetseat so cant speak for the most recent one, but the realteus one is more comfortable. The older jetseat i cant even use because it hurts after 30 minutes of use...

Ya im not gonna pull the review unless someone can show me its a scam. From what I've seen he does deliver the product but its taking 6+ months for some people to get it.

Yup, I think they have some work ahead of them to fix their rep, I literally got hit by 12+ people in PMs soon as I posted I had a review copy, all of them pissed.

Nice guide! Some feedback Page 40 - the graphic showing 40* is incorrect, the +-20 degree scan is left right, not up down. Elevation Bars indicate height, Azimuth Degrees indicate width of the cone.

This is a known by ED bug, been like this for years, exists in the L39 as well No fix in site unfortunately. Only way around it is to use the net layer and inject information into the mission from external on the server (just like SLMOD does)

Fairly certain AutoThrottle puts on on speed and keeps you there. That way you just control your descent with pitch and it will "auto" throttle to stay on speed.

So like i said, you have to get a higher FPS in DCS... which isnt going to right now. Judder is a problem at low FPS (not refresh rate). Brainwarp doesnt fix it, ASW in Oculus did. Totally different tech.

The "ghosting" which is actually called Judder has been around and is a side effect of low framerate. It is the reason why Oculus had strived for 90 FPS, and why ASW was created for when below 90. Brainwarp for Pimax is suppose to fix this, but I've not had a chance to try it. https://xinreality.com/wiki/Judder

Basically the 8k is 1440p (or 2k) upscaled to 4k... the 5k+ is 2k no up scaling, the difference however is the actual pixel format itself. the 8k uses a pixel format much like the Rift CV1 and Vive called Pen-tile The 5k+ uses RGB stripe Notice the difference? A lot less black space (screen door effect) between the pixels, improving clarity. The image itself wont really be that much better upscaled on the 8k, maybe just slightly, but with the SDE on the 8k you end up failing to take advantage of any clarity the up scaling would give you.

5K+ looks better than the 8K

Designation through the HUD only. INS accuracy is 185 meters, with that accuracy you wont hit anything through WP designation.

The offset is due to the HUD not being a primary flight instrument, the offset comes from the heading tape being added in and moving it down 5 degrees, from what ive heard and read F-14 pilots typically didnt use the HUD for anything other than combat cues. You should be using the VDI instead Also keep in mind Trim only works and certain altitudes, the offset from the horizon changes with altitude. Just learn to use the VDI
