Indeed, even if a new version of something is being developed you still need to fix these kinds of bugs in the current version in the mean time. If you have bought modules you should not have to accept this kind of bug for example for years leading up to the release of the new version of the ATC. -

+1 In the Hornet there was a green flash light but that was removed sadly. Green light is realistic since the pilot could be wearing FLITELites on their fingers.

Does anyone know how you make a static object mot always be horizontal regardless of the terrains slope? All static mods I have made tilt the same as the slope of the ground that they are placed on. EDs static buldings for example does not, they remain horizontal with only more of their foundation showing on one side if they are placed on a sloping terrain.

Ok, I will check if I still have the line in autoexec.cfg and remove it so it hopefully goes away because I dont seem to need to make any changes in it anyway. However it does not go away when I save a preference, its like it cant save it and therefore reappears every time. -
+1 Please make a hotfix so they can be turned off for those that dont want them.

User placed trains will always be visible even if they are set to late activation. To reproduce: Place a user placed train with a waypoint so that it is supposed to move. Then set it to Late Activation and run the sim. The train will sit visible at its first waypoint but it will not move. It should not be visible before activation. A user placed train can not be deactivated either.

Due to the span overflow problem user made trains are basicly unusable because the lines that illustrate the routes in the Mission Editor gets saved into the miz file that gets a big filesize and causes DCS to crash. Is it possible to write a script that is run some seconds into a mission sending the trains on their journeys along the railroads to points described into the script? If needed I would not mind using MOOSE or MIST.

Im making a mod for a AI drone and am trying to make wing tip vapor and condensation trail from the engine but still no luck. For wing tips I have added connectors FLOW_001 and FLOW_002 in the model and for condensation trail I gave tried both connector INVERS_001 and also fire point nr 8 but none of it works. For the connectors, do I need to add something in the lua-file for the aircraft to make them work? I have not found dokumentation about it. Also when Im at it, Im also making a towed target for the drone that I would like to have no engine sound? Is it possible to add something in the lua-file to get rid of it or add a line that changes the sound to a audio file that I can record with the mic muted?

Does anyone know where the files for this train is in the installation folder? Is it a Orbx Train that comes with the map? In order to only run trains I place myself on the map I want to remove this train by editing a lua or replacing a model file ore something. I have managed to do that with other trains but this one I dont know where the files for it are in the installation folder. I tried editing a table file listing trains in the Orbx_Train folder but that did not get rid of it so I suspect that this may be a ED train perhaps.

I hope this is not off topic but does anyone know what the numbers in the METAR codes in DCS for presets mean? As I understand it in a real METAR report the temperature and dew point are the numbers separated by /. In DCS presets METARS there are multiple instances of numbers separated by /. Are these temperature and dew points or does it mean the altitude for the cloud layers? Because in a real METAR should not the cloud layers be noted down like for example FEW025 BKN045 OVC080 meaning a few clouds at 2,500 ft., broken clouds at 4,500 ft., overcast at 8,000 ft? In DCS it is not entered like that. Does the values with / mean the level for where each cloud layer start and end if the base elevations slider is not changed after the preset has been selected? I have never understood this since the new weather system was released.- 355 replies

Would it be possible to get some kind of Paint Kit for the Westland? Some layered texture file so I can remove the base colour and do a Norwegian livery. -
