For me the Hornet is like my real counterpart a land based aircraft with some carrier functionality. I stick to what Swiss Air Force has and nothing else. A2A no A2G. Same as I would like to get my land based ILS and my land based single cable for using the hook on land. I am happy to add in my modified Batumi Swiss Airbase a ICLS transmitter in ME, if ED does give me the option. Our F18 is way ahead of a Lot 20, it has been modernized by several upgrade programs and the next is already in plans. Even if unrealistic for a Lot 20 Navy Hornet, I ask a few upgrades for a Swiss Hornet ;) Thats all.

We know that the Lot 20, Navy, did not have a ILS receiver. We know for sure that Switzerland and Finland have a combined ICLS/ILS capable receiver installed, modified by RUAG, for CH. I know that IRL, Navy does not have it. But for the sake of having proper naval and land ops in DCS, we need a compromise here. As real as it gets, but with a few digits of code modified for the sake of being able to land in Batumi in IMC conditions. Cheers Martin

WAGS says that ICLS will be implemented. That is really nice to hear. Is there going to be any sort of compromise for the ILS on land? IMC on land without the compromise of having teh Swiss or Finish Hornet ILS receiver implementation does not make sense

Yes, but it happens in XP11 too. This is Oculus related. Even the last beta update 1.28 screwed my ability to define the height and my chaperon.

I am getting solid 45 frames on my Oculus. While over the ocean I even saw 90 fps recently ;) It is certainly not headset related, but config. I can paste you my settings tonight, if you like.

Not sure about this "Mashal stack" "Marshal" would be for me roughly 20 miles from the mother, angels 20. Then we got "Platform" would be angels 5, about 10 miles from mother. At the "Gate" 1200ft, 8 miles

Hi How can I place a start location for my F18 on a free "start on ground" location in ME, like I can do for the Helicopter? In Batumi I placed two Hot Start hangars at the top end of the runway, but I can only move helo there. Thanks for assistance

Yes, you have to contact the carrier "inbound" and the contact tower and get landing permissions. Then the light turns on on the CVN-74. Mind that if you are having old missions, they might contain an old carrier mod - i stumbled over the same ;)
