  1. Afirm. Same here. Had to land to escort the E3 home, then I refueled and wanted to head home. Unfortunately FCSA and FCSB tests would not complete. They stay on RESTRT and the left slats appear to be down while right is raised. FCS panels shows no movment when moving the stick. I tried to reset by pushing FCS bit switch together with FCS reset. The surfaces begin to move. But after completition surfaces go back into the same previously stuck position. Any idea?
  2. Would be nice, when being hooked up to the cat by pressing U, if the holdback bar would be visible too
  3. Wait for ICLS to be implemented. Then you can do a case III recovery in full IMC conditions
  4. You have to modify the file directly in DCS folder. Not within the saved game for this case. The modification will be overwritten every time you update. Please not that on my system, it takes at least 3-5min depending on mission for ME to load. Don't know why, but it appears to be loading from all objects this. Works only with static objects!
  5. I had a Mig29 closing in from heads on onto Texaco. Texaco was a 12 o'clock too. I armed weapons, Aim 7, i got a lock, diamond, identified as hostile, i got a green "shoot", Fox1, hit. I seldom score a hit with a Fox1. Fox2 are way better. Unfortunately this time, the Mig was still there and I realized this exactly when that bloody archer struck me. Right stab gone, right wing flaps gone, wingtip gone. But hey, I stayed in the air and made it back to Batumi. Belly landing ;) My wingman kicked the Mi29 a**
  6. I'll be happy to have AWACS to declare the aircraft type. Given that AWACS say it is a Mig 29, for me this is hostile ;)
  7. Thank you! Awesome work. I tried to add it to one of my missions, but placing it in Batumi will hinder my wingman to startup and take off. Batumi ATC will close the airport ;)
  8. Thats what you see when your hornet slips off the carrier. You float above this brownisch textures ;)
  9. Cables in LSMM are located at TDZ and are used for trap on landing, not at the end runway.
  10. I got something strange, maybe same thing. If I use the Hotas switch to lower the launch bar, after getting of deck, it is not being retracted and stays down. If i click in cockpit and leave the HW switch where it is, the LB is automatically moved up after cat shot.
  11. Happened to me too. Took a shot on a Mig29, hit the friendly F5, bit since the Mig 29 finished it off, it did not get rated as my friendly kill. It happens. no buddy spike yet ;)
  12. Afirm - Swiss Hornet do have it too
  13. Any chance to get the Swiss Air Force too?
  14. Incorrect. I talked to Swiss Airforce Demo Pilot. No finger lift needed to push in the air through the gate into AB. All you got to do is to push a bit firmer. Fingerlift are needed to put the throttles into cutoff from idle position. ;) WOW sensor have influence on a variety of systems on ground - probes heaters - nws - brakes - l/g handle And lastly AB ops on ground. The use of the finger lifts on ground is not the mechanical bypass, but to tell WOW that AB is OK an bypass the restriction. Cheers Martin
  15. Check out here too https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=212838
  16. Correct, but without using the finger lifts, you won't have AB thrust IRL, on ground, as the AB system blocked by the lockout system.
  17. Strangely, my ME does not show this option after Update 4.
  18. It is checked on. I want AB lock system to be active on ground an on carrier like IRL, while there is WOW. Someone said, to untick it, but then AB is active on ground too without fingerlifts, which would be incorrect behaviour either.
  19. After the new update, even in air you have to use the finger lifts to enter AB. This is incorrect. Only with Weight on Wheels, the afterburner lockout system is active. In the air not.
  20. Afirm - I didn‘t realize that there was a new tab. Ir had the lifts mapped for cv t/o not for aerial use ;) thanks
  21. Hi The afterburner is gone after the update this afternoon. If i advance the throttle to max in flight i have no AB. Bug?
  22. No. It was usually around 4pm CEDT. Meaning an hour to go ;)
  23. OK
  24. I realize that this is a tough thing. But there is no free beer. I got 686 hrs filed on the F16C sim since 1999. I spent endless flights and missions. I got roughly 800 hrs on the A330 and 6 hrs in the level D sim. All realtime. This does not come for free. You get your ppl with 45hrs. I see no reason why you would need less hours to get a virtual PPL in sim. See, I think this is a simulator and anything I consider a sim, shall have a more realistic touch. There are plenty of other "sims" which i call video games
