  1. Is there any way to turn off or remove the extra bloom / haze effect while in the Kiowa cockpit? It is rather distracting and I've found I'd rather not fly the module anymore.
  2. I vote we lock this thread at 69 Pages!!
  3. The Harrier is a completed module. That should leave it in ED's hands to keep it functioning if RB was to abandon the product. I could be wrong about that, but as far as I know that was the statement from ED when they first announced that 3rd party developers would be able to create content for DCS.
  4. You and me both, brother!! That's the best laugh I had all day Hope it gets resolved for you, you good looking sonovabiche
  5. Oh sweet lord, You have the Steam version of DCS World and purchased an EA product there? Caveat emptor my friend You are the walking definition of 'business is business'
  6. So get your money back. Vote with your wallet - That is business.
  7. I literally just linked a screengrab of their store; they've had it since they began. I was in error; they just linked the DCS modules to the DCS store. They deactivated the link. Getting lost in speculation and hyperventilating or handwringing over what might be doesn't do anyone any good... And anyone getting upset over this little predicament should really take a step back from DCS and back into the real-world for a little break.
  8. I have purchased items from Razbams store in the past, and it appears the links for the DCS modules have been deactivated; so I was in error. (The store does exist tho) However, I have never, nor has anybody ever seen any evidence that the Razbam modules will not be supported in the future, whatever the outcome of this predicament. You only offer speculation that this is the case. Touch grass, Rainmaker. It will do you some good.
  9. What modules are unsupported? Where is your proof of this? Also, are the Razbam modules not for sale on the Razbam store as well? I think many are assuming much. Might be time to take a break from DCS...
  10. The only thing I've lost faith in is the overall community in DCS. (not that there was much there to begin with) I would lose faith in ED if they did comment on an ongoing dispute with a third party; that would be unprofessional. Maybe its time for some to step away from DCS until they can come back with clear heads... Meanwhile I'll just be here enjoying the hell out of a great combat simulator!
  11. Yes you can. You need turn off 'hydraulics' force, and you need to have CLS2Sim read the airspeed from DCS. Then you can adjust the force at 500mph to be quite hard to pull. (keeping in mind the maximum force before thermal cutoff. I would set it at +/- 3Nm) I actually had created a profile that did this for the hornet as well, just to experiment. Was a blast to fly. I'm not sure if buffet is modelled at low airspeed; I haven't made any warbird profiles, so that might be a downside.
  12. null
  13. For the F-16 I set my curve to not go over 3.2-ish Nm at full throw; then I set my max throw at 40% for both X & Y axis. As you can see in the second image, at max deflection I'm under 4Nm (which is the max before the thermal cutoff.) If I turn at full deflection for a couple minutes in the Viper, the forces will cut out as the stick goes into thermal protection. I don't have this problem with either of my Hornet profiles, or any other profiles I have created. I should add I have the Mark I brunner sitck; the new Mark II stick has 4Nm sustainable force, and 6Nm maximum force.null For trim in the F-16, I map this in DCS, not the Brunner software. For F-18 and F-14 I map in Brunner software. (I'm pretty sure the Hornet trim IRL does not move stick, but I prefer if it does in DCS) For helo's I obviously use the Brunner force trim as well.
  14. I thought you said you have a Brunner stick, sorry. If you have a Brunner stick and use the CLS2Sim software you can make any type of FFB profile for anything you are flying. I could make a FFB profile for Combined Arms if I wanted to.
  15. Great news! Thank you for the new helo, it was well worth the wait!
  16. It took me a while to figure out the Brunner software (CLS2Sim) but once I got the hang of it I really like it. I have 2 different helo profiles; one with more 'slop' for huey, Mi8; and one that has a tight center for BS3, Apache. I'm still undecided which one to use for KW, or I might make a new one. I know a lot of Brunner users can't stand the software, and resort to using default DCS FFB effects, but these are very weak to me. For example, the default DCS F14, F16, and F18 force profiles are very weak. In the brunner software I have 2 different force profiles for Hornet, one super tight profile for F16, almost like a force sensing stick but it moves about 25mm. (F14 is still WIP, but has a decent DCS default FFB) I used the the Microsoft FFB2 for over a decade before buying the Brunner, so to me it has more than enough power.
  17. You have a Brunner stick, don't you? I can fly the Hornet with helo ffb effects using my Brunner if I want...
  18. I used a single projector on a flat 90” screen for a while; it was great, but was also the family movie setup as well so eventually went to VR. I love projectors, someday may return to using them. one thing I’ll mention is they are easy on the eyes, much more so than vr or screens.
  19. This is great! I did end up buying a Brunner last year, but used a MSFFB2 for 11 years before that. My solution was mashing a CH combat stick on it. Good work!
  20. Those look great! I've got my eye on the funky switch box...
  21. Any idea how long these take? Preordered 5 weeks ago
  22. i have been experiencing this issue as well, mostly on the Syria map, but infrequently on PG and Caucus during long sessions. On Syria, I've found if I don't change views or die, I'm fine. System specs: i7 8700 @ 4.8, 2080TI, Reverb G2, 32Gb ram
  23. bumping this topic I'd like a pair of these
