[Official] SimShaker for Aviators

Hi guys, question: I using a bass shaker with the sound module. In the F-18, is there a way to set up an effect to have the vibrations increase as I add power with the throttle. IE, higher vibrations and the engine rpm spools up? I have huge vibrations when it gets to afterburner, but I'm looking for a subtle gradual increase to make me feel the engine rpms when they increase. Possible? -
Is this for just one MFD or it has both? I assume both?

hey guys, I have a like new Jetseat Sim Edition in Green color. I got it from Andre a couple months ago and have only used it a few times. I like it but I already have two bass shakers set up and it gets lost in all that vibration so I'm selling it. Perfect condition. With shipping this cost me $217 from Andre. I'll let it go for $160 shipped to CONUS. Shipping to US lower 48 states only. Thanks!

Are you running the latest beta update on DCS. That screwed all the VR stuff up.

Also, if i have a slightly low ball in close it seems pointless to try to correct that because I have to wait a long time to get enough trust to move it and waiting throws off my ability to judge the counter corrections with the trombone movements. I add the power and get nothing and hold it and then blast through the glideslope and bolter. It makes you just skip it and grab the one or two wire. And, that would certainly be incorrect compared to real life ball flying. In real life you would have enough response to move the ball back up smartly, and would of course do so.

Yeah, not that i know much but that transition to onspeed is very weird. I have to delay my break for a long time because i need time for the wrestling match to get to stable trimmed onspeed before the 180. I have to pull the stick into my lap an then it is like waiting for a rubber band to finally snap back before i can do small trim adjustments. And it snaps back hard. And then, finally it gets into a little groove and hangs there nice. That wrestling match seems not right.

I would love to play around with world scale a little bit but i simply cant because the gui and in game text goes bonkers and gives me a headache. This cant be how it was intended to function.
-
If i force ipd at any value, the gui gets all wonky and moves around when i move my head. Is anyone else gettin this?

Awesome, would you mind attaching the dds file here or pm me with it so I can throw it in there? But, I mean for the desert flight suit, not the HUD glass. Thank you!

VR Shaders mod for better VR experience

Man, i wish we could get this working for multiplayer. A busy carriier deck today on one of the servers and im like 23 frames with ASW. -
Any quick pointers on how to do that with your files to get it to work? Dont know what im doing.

Hey Home Fries, i think there might be a temporary fix for putting a tan flight suit avatar in the custom cockpit settings. A guy that did the no tint hud said if you name them both default and then in the drop down menu, you just choose the second default and it shows up in game. Any thoughts?

I think Im getting a pretty good bump on fps with this mod but I cant seem to get rid of the artifacts at the borders. Im using the rift and I’ve gone as high as .980 on mask size and still see the artifacts. Any ideas? Can i go to like 1.500 maybe? Am I nullifying the effect by going really high on mask size? -
Also, Home Fries did a bug report on the inside cockpit flight suit model. It won't show a custom tan flight suit right now but I'm sure they'll fix it soon. Then you should be able to look down and see a flight suit that matches the external model.
-
Ok, thanks Home Fries. That is the standard default file ab nd then someone would have to skin that with a tan flight suit, correct?
-
Hey uscstaylor, is there any way to have the internal cockpit model pilot have the tan flight suit also? In other words, inside the cockpit, I look down at the pilots body and it still has a green suit on. Im looking at that most of the time, not the outside model, that why I ask. Thanks for your reply!

Surprised you found one. In VR it is a different game completely. Most of the people that complain about the cons of VR would crap their drawers if they actually put the headset on.
-
Don't know why they had to go for 200 degrees when it means they are just going to stretch and distort the edges.
-
Yeah, my pop did it for real and said he would kick the rudder to catch it just right.
