Like the previous posters have said. Either with Flight Director mode on on, or with the trimbutton just held in all the time....either that or he's just playing in the kiddie games mode....

It is better to setup that axis in game as a zoom view that way you get the full range as an analogue axis instead of sending keypresses via the software.

Have you set up your control configurations for both game mode and simulation mode? There are seprated configs for both...

There are seperate control configurations for simulation and for game mode, you have to setup you axis seperately for each. I'm using 180.48 also. Since there is no profile for the game yet in the nvidia drivers you need to add one. Point it toward dcs.exe. In the profile set it to use AA{ there is no setting in the game so you must set it here} Also set it to use AFR in the SLI mode box. THis is how it is on my machine. [ATTACH]22775[/ATTACH]

Yep , he's right. It's the same as a remote for your TV or whatever...theres no light when you press the button. On that thought ....who doesn't have tons of old remote controls laying around for long gone devices? maybee it's possible to cut up a old TV or VCR remote and get the IR LED out of it and a soft contact switch?

I have the Russian and English versions BS. The rear cockpit panel lights are broken in the english version, they are somehow liked to the other cockpit light switch instead of the rear cockpit panel light switch as in the Russian version. In the russian version the lights for the back right panel actually work off the light switch on the back panel. It's not a game breaker but I grew accustomed to having to turn that one on seperately in the Russian version :/ Is this a bug or was it intended in the English version?

I'm having the same problem too, I installed to seperate directorys and it disabled the key for my Russian version :mad: .Hard to reactivate, not sure what buttons to use in the starforce popup to reactivate it on the RU version it's shoing my key but I click the top box in the dialogue window and no go. I hope that I dont end up in a never ending loop of the english and russian versions deactivating eachother. It shouldn't I paid for 2 seperate products and 2 seperate keys.....

Real pilots fly on gut instinct IMO :P When you are flying towards the mountains in this sim you can pretty much sense if your going to make it over or not. After flying this for a while you start to subconciously learn the limits of what can and cannot be done with the helicopter.

Saitek has had a poll on their user forums looking to see if there was interest in a FFB HOTAS. It is needed but I'm not sure if there is enough consumer interest for them to develop this product :/

Nice find....I hardly ever check ther support site anymore for updated drivers , they rarely update but 1 time a year if your lucky.

Here's mine. I have configured about 90% of the game fucntions based off the default configuration, so if you don't like something you can simply change it byt picking it from the list of preprogramed fucntions. [ATTACH]23120[/ATTACH]

It's kind of hit and miss. The button numbers can be found in your control panel/game controllers...just select the X45 then pick properties. I'm pretty sure that there are some differences though between what the control panel shows and what the game shows.

Yes the profiles you already have still work. Been using the beta software with no problems. I'm liking it, especially the test screen. I did just buy the english version of DCS:BS and can confirm that the crashing still persists until I remove the lua-direct_output.dll from the C:\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\bin\stable folder. Doesn't bother me anyways I don't miss the RULEEZ SAITEK anyways.

Not quite so automated or seamless on the hydraulic failure. In fact I just had one after I got hit by a few bullets from some soldiers on the ground. I looked at the outside of the aircraft didnt see any dammage, continued on my way to the main target. A minute later EKRAN says common hydraulics error and then my gear seemingly automatically droped out. I flip that emergency gear switch and try to retract them with the gear lever then I recieved a main hydraulics error, 30 seconds later I'm spiraling towards the ground. Not sure what I did wrong but I feel like I caused the second failure somehow due to my ignorance. The second that spiral bound book is out I'm ordering it. I hate alt tabing out and trying to read a PDF. I want something I can quickly flip open or browse through on long flights without leaving the game. I dont really have the patience to try to print double sided pages to do it myself nor do I want to spend $100.00 on ink, printing 700 pages.

Are you firewalled or running through a router? What setting are you using in the game for the network speed setting?

Nothing you can do about that since the way the buttons operate in the game is to push it to turn it on and push it to turn it off, there is no way for your profile to determine if it is on or off. Also be careful with that mode switch , if you don't assign it as a macro {i.e. it will only press one time} then it will continually send the command to the game and cause high CPU usage because it is flooding the game with keyboard input. This is because when you use the mode switch, when you switch to a different "mode" it is the same as pressing and holding a button down[unless it is a macro]

Do you have windows Vista or XP? Also have you tried updating your drivers?
