  1. Unfortunately, based on previous efforts. I feel that they cannot fix it currently which is why there's been no acknowledgement of this post or others.... Now I'm not saying that it a way of 'ED is shite weh weh weh', these things are difficult to resolve as I'm sure it'll require a new way of thinking to their current method. But for me thus a core tech issue - it's one of those things that really really has to be resolved and resolved properly. It would be great to at least see a little response, even if it's: "Yes, we currently don't have a solution but we are looking into it." As currently it seems like somethings are just going unnoticed, which makes 'bug reporting' a big waste of my/others time.
  2. Though rather personal.... I'd be surprised that you'd fit in the aircraft if you were near 39,000 pounds.....
  3. Are you 'on speed' on your approach/touchdown?
  4. One thing that a mate of mine found with the rift, and it happens with all airframes is: Remove it, count to 10 once the screens have turned off and then put it back on.... As crazy as it seems, this sometimes fixes the stutters
  5. There are a couple of mod/scripts that you can add to your missions for an Marshall and LSO. They're ace, I think one is in the F-18 forums and the other is called 'Airboss' and it's a part of the MOOSE function library
  6. I've tried logging with once cleared all forms of cache, I've tried running through a vpn in multiple locations, I've just to login on a phone on data... All with no success, I really don't see how this is something on 'our' side seeing as one day it was working and then suddenly shit loads of people are having issues, I would completely understand that it could be 'our' issue if it was a very very small amount of people but it's not. AND still we have heard nothing from them, they just seem to ignore this stuff.... Like not even a "Missing Track" tag :P
  7. Still no answer on this 'web gui maintenance' I see.... FANTASTIC
  8. It's probably not a memory leak, more just poor memory management. They are two different things. Hopefully it is the latter as memory leaks can be extremely hard to find. The reason behind me saying it's probably not a memory leak is that a vast majority of people are fine and hardly anyone else with very large RAM capacity are having issues. If it was a leak then even people with 128gb would eventually crash. By the way, I'm on 16gb DDR3, i7 4930 and a 1080. I can load into all of the large multiplayer servers just fine. Apologies if I come across as a dick in this post, it just bugs me when people throw around the term 'memory leak' just because they ram usage is high :)
  9. So Wags... Just to make sure I've got this right, because I know you guys have said it a lot but the concept is rather complex and difficult to grasp.... Now I think I've got it: So the litening pod will come AFTER the HARM is complete.... Not BEFORE but AFTER. Please correct me if I'm wrong because like I said, it's a complex concept to grasp this whole 'time' thing.
  10. Hi WOPR, This is a 'known' issue regarding the logic for the current carrier deck setup, this still happens whilst flying the F-18. I put the word known in '' for the fact that many people, including myself have repeatedly reported this and we hear nothing... Supposedly it was 'fixed' ages ago but clearly not. If you could post your findings and anymore further findings for this issue on this post: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=234990 I'm trying to get them to notice it and actually fix it... As their hacky fix is just not right. *Also a note to the HB guys, please could you guys really press ED on this issue as it's ****ing shit. Thanks Cheers, Danny
  11. There is already an 'accept' or 'decline' system... It pops up all the time for me, it's been there for years
  12. Now I maybe told to 'get back in my box' but I think the sliding bug is linked with the bouncing at airfield bug after carrier takeoff https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=232362&page=3
  13. I'd like to bring back the good old topic of sliding, slipping, skipping, warping, shift and whatever else you'd like to call it. This has never been resolved, only lessened and now it seems in the F-14 it's back again. Two tracks added. Let me just say again that this has never been fixed,,,, If the boat is moving the aircraft moves - this is at any speed, it's just a case of speed being a multiplier. This is something that needs to be fixed properly as to me so far it seems to be just a hacky fix that works in some conditions. Anything with a rough sea state, or the boat turning - that is a major factor. https://www.dropbox.com/s/j5sg1lplgqm6o99/DeckingSliddingForDays.zip?dl=0
  14. Any folder in your saved games directory can be deleted as they get rebuilt on load. Not the metashaders in the install dir.
  15. Have you guys tried clearing your fxo and metashaders folders... I find that the 14 is extremely stable when it comes to fps in VR
  16. A new product will always go to OB first, it's literally the point of OB. The hornet went to OB first like every other airframe. So this is a non-topic.
  17. Did you start on the cat or parking?
  18. Did you guys buy it from the ED store or the Heatblur store... If it was the latter did you bind it to your ED account?
  19. Say that's 4.5 years.... It averages out to 3.5 commits everyday... EVERYDAY... Just think about that people. Well done guys! I hope you are proud of what you have accomplished
  20. I suggest some people here go outside for a bit....
  21. It's a hold down button, not a simple click... As it is in reality.
  22. Depending on the step size, but short answer is yes. 8bit colour contains 256 colour in the three channels (r,g,b): 256x256x256=16.7million colours 10bit contains 1024: 1.07billion colours The problem with that though is: More colours = more data
  23. That therefore means there's a date set?
