If I check that top box, it send all the audio through the headset instead of the speakers.

Im trying to get my headset working for radios and speech while external sounds go to my speakers. I havent been able to get this working under Windows 11 for some reason or other, so I need help getting this set up correctly. Im using Mixed Reality Portal with Reverb G2, how would I go about setting this up? Here are my current settings at the moment. I dont have any other options with sound devices for some reason or other, yet I know these headphones work. In Windows 10 the reverb speakers were USB 2.0 and my PC speakers were more generic. Same with the microphone; settings called them microphone USB 2.0. Anyone know what the deal is?

Those B1-B6 buttons...when you look at the bar on the right side of the button control screen, you see a list of modes: logical, physical, modes, shift, delays... check them to see if they are anything other than "normal" in the most list. the logical and physical apply to what button it is: logic is what button it is assigned in windows, and physical is what button it physically is. If it is ANYTHING other than normal, let me know. Also would highly suggest just making a new profile using the latest editor and firmware and see if you can get it working from there.

Not sure...I have all the modules and terrains, half of them I know enough...but again it was LOMAC and Flanker with Falcon 4.0 thrown in later when Black Shark came out. Something along the lines of being able to use Hyperlobby to join, but the group kind of fell apart afterwards. I dont even know if its feasible yet, its an old old old Flanker 2.0/Falcon 4.0/LOMAC group from 15+ years ago. Im interested in rebranding it and starting it again. If I do, itll be from scratch and yes will be recruiting. So far its just me.

if it fails, it fails. Just delete that file and check again. Unfortunately thats the best you can do. But make sure its in the saved games folder first and not in the main directory.

so how come when I do that, its always off?? I can stare straight down that tube and get 3 perfect rings evenly spaced apart and its always off. Hell, even if I adjust my seat position to eye level with the tube its still off.

so do you sit right back up in your natural position afterwards?

Id like to know how do you exactly get concentric rings for a "good alignment". Do you sit in your natural posture in a chair then look down the barrel of the tube? Do you slouch over to get a better view down the tube? Do you adjust your seat position down to get a better view down the tube? Which way is the correct way???? Its ALWAYS off for me in VR.

You arent missing out on much. Only reason why I have it now is because I cant find a supported version of Windows 10 with drivers for my new hardware. One day Ill find a way to roll back, but until then this is what I get.

The only thing that really confuses me about my settings is ALL of my speakers are listed as Realtek USB audio. It wasnt like that in Windows 10. Even my jet seat which is plugged into a SPDIF port is listed as a USB audio.

Honestly, the last time I started it was when I update it. I keep saying to myself one of these days Ill learn how to use it, but even still I find myself not flying at all and Ive never really fully set up Vaicom for actual use. I have it, but the amount of times Ive used it...I wonder why I even have it.

Running Windows 11 Pro. Ever since I migrated to Windows 11, I havent been able to get any sound output to my headset for communications only. I have been able to get actual sound from my headset, but just DCS as a whole. I can get it to work with a regular headset, but for some reason not my Reverb G2.

Not working, still not seeing anything in Open Beta, and its always constantly asking for my password even when I log in and click remember pw and login info. However.... OK...after taking the suggestion, I just input openbeta in text and nothing more. Now its seeing my saved games folder again, thanks!

I have it installed in B drive to keep things organized. No, it hasnt caused any problems. None of my games, save for MSFS is installed on the main directory. This is my saved games folder. And to be clear, I identified that drive as B drive. Its just another M.2 stick.
