  1. Thanks, but still the same. Sorry, I mean that double clicking on it just brings up the same desktop only browser.
  2. Thanks Skate. Yes, that works in terms of your app, but it's not a practical solution as the desktop contents then disappear from view and are replaced by a 'Where are my files' icon. Of course, it can be redirected away from OneDrive, but just for this one issue, not sure it’s worth it I still don't understand why yours is the only app I have ever used that exhibits this behaviour.
  3. I asked the same question a couple of pages ago and I can’t remember the answer! Edit: It is on p80 and 81. However, despite various suggestions by @SkateZillathere was no solution.
  4. I like having all my system folders - including ‘Saved Games’ - available on all devices. It means I can see my pictures, documents, music, saved games etc. available at all times on all devices. Also, an internet connection is not required as all files are stored locally as well as syncing with the cloud if an internet connection is available.
  5. I have used MS account on Windows for years without any issue. Far from being a ‘con’, syncing between devices is an essential for me. Syncing all Onedrive files and relocating Windows system folders to OneDrive has also been a major boon. Each to his own, I guess.
  6. Thanks a lot for that. The addition of the usual DCS IA missions would be a great boon for everyone wanting to use the map.
  7. And..... guess what? Yep, you're correct no kneeboard Syria map update in todays OB. What was a joke, has now turned into a total farce.
  8. Hi @jonsky7, don't know what colour your using for text, but it's impossible to read in the forum's dark mode which a lot of us use. See attached.
  9. Got you! That makes sense. The thing is, if you bind your twist axis and pedals to rudder, you can chose either at any time. Both will work always.
  10. I'm being a bit slow on this, but why would he want to bind the z axis to rudder if he wants to use the pedals for rudder?
  11. I don't really understand your question. Do you use the twist axis at all? If no, then just disable it in the VPC software, if yes, then just don't bind rudder to it in-game and bind your pedals instead. Sorry if I am misunderstanding!
  12. Yes, you’ve done all the right things. One of the great things about DCS - unlike other flight sims - is that it will accept the same input as axis or button without conflict.
  13. Just spotted another minor error. On P187, it says that button PB20 'MODE' selects the radar mode, but that button is not modelled in DCS. It is PB5 that selects the radar mode.
  14. Pretty sure you can’t have axis to button functionality without the axis being active. All axes can be axes and buttons at the same time. Don’t see why you would want to disable the axis.
  15. @Charly_OwlBignewy has set the thread I posted in the Hornet forum on this as 'investigating'. After searching everywhere I can, I see no evidence of a snowplough mode in the ATFLIR, and certainly no mention of anything that drops to -8 degrees. Double clicking from VVSLV takes the ATFLIR into INR mode.
  16. Thanks. I don't think this mode is mentioned in ED's manual.
  17. Thanks @BIGNEWY, but that's not my point. Slaving to VVI works perfectly OK, it's the snowplough mode I'm talking about, i.e. a double press of undesignate from VVSLV. In the Litening FLIR, double pressing undesignate from VVSLV goes to snowplough and drops the vertical angle to -8 degrees. In Chuck's guide on p318, it says that the same behaviour should be seen using the ATFLIR. (See point 5 in attachment). I'm not seeing that. In the ATFLIR, snowplough mode remains at the same vertical (up/down) angle as the VVI. I'm wondering which is the correct behaviour, as it is currently in the module, or as described by @Charly_Owl.
  18. I posted elsewhere but got no response, so I guess I'll ask if this is a bug or correct behaviour here.
  19. Checklists like that are probably easier/more accessible using the kneeboard, but whatever works for you is good!
  20. As I replied to your query in the other thread: Yes, you just go to DCS Controls, click on Modifier, add in your E1 and E2 press buttons, then just bind the modifier and the cw/ccw turn on E1/E2 and you have what you want to do.
  21. Sorry about late reply, I was away for a couple of days. Yes, you just go to DCS Controls, click on Modifier, add in your E1 and E2 press buttons, then just bind the modifier and the cw/ccw turn on E1/E2 and you have what you want to do.
  22. My guide wasn’t really about adding buttons, it was about setting up the detents making use of new features in the software. Not sure what you mean by ‘additional functionality’. Can you expand a bit?
  23. Just look at my first post about setting up detents here. My method works well for me and has helped others it might be useful for you
  24. It’s the same except that you can’t define the button number. Auto assigned now.
  25. No one? I'll maybe post in the bugs section to check if this is correct behaviour or not.
