Thank you guys! This made this module almost unplayable to me, since I couldn't see whats going on on the radar screen.
-
I think you are trying to install it under 2.0 But the M2000 for 2.0 will come out later:

Thanks, I wish your team a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2016. Keep up the good work!

Would it be possible that people can log into the Wiki using their forum account? I think this would attract more people. I just wanted to look up something concerning JTACs (found my answer) and FARPs (nothing). Where do people get information about the mission editor??? When I have a look into the Wiki or search the forums, I think to myself: Everybody does it the way I do: try and fail, search, try, search, try and after 2 hours I personally give up and play the mission I have till then. My initial question was: How'd one know what the FARP looks like on the map, where to place the ammo depot so it doesn't stand on the landing pad? The Wiki would be a great thing if people would actually work with it. Or am I completely missing something?

Looks really good!

I have the feeling that the last 50 post of you I've read, were impatient begging for the Hornet  All across these forums. :P I feel you man, I feel you :notworthy:

-
Just have look at how many countries are using it: F-16 operators That's why I'm more interested in an F/A-18C, my country uses it  edit: to be honest, I also prefer it more because you see it being used in operations a lot more then the F-16 (that's maybe because it's used by the Navy and not on the mainland?)

Sorry to dig this thread up, but I had the exact same issue and was thinking about the same. It would be nice to have a button somewhere to get all modules at a later point.

To clear things up: Boards using the X99 chipset have various USB issues, which might not even happen on Gigabytes board solely But AFAIK the X99 is currently the only one to support DDR4 RAM ? Contacting Gigabyte support concerning these issues is mostly useless, you could as well talk to your cat... I bought a 300 bucks board which then refused to start 5 out of ten times, got a new one a few days later, since the 1st one broke down already and still had the same issues (boot loop, USB) on a brand new system.... Honestly I cannot tell abour the other chipsets but mine is a piece of junk. I remember dealing with a old one ( P67?) where I also had some bizarre issues. Anyway that's just my opinion. Best thing is to have an eye on reviews, to see if there are issues. Btw buying a water cooling isn't that expensive and will give you quite a bit if you're into overclocking

Happy flying :pilotfly:

Just stay away from Gigabyte boards!:ranting: 4 cores seems to me the only way to go, so this would be something like Intel I7-xxxx RAM also matters a lot, but 8GB should do the job It's definitely worth getting an SSD, they are still relatively pricey if you look at their size, but I'm only using it for Windows and DCS and have a separate 1TB HDD. My general tip: have a look at reviews of the hardware you're planning to buy, also check other peoples singatures to see which stuff is the most common (=reliable)

hmm maybe he was trying to send you the .reg file from his post Have you already used that file? Else you could also press LWin + R key, type "regedit" then navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Leatherneck Simulations\DCS:MiG-21 BiS\ and delete the folder "Keys" in there. Then again try to run pcmsl.exe, make sure you're using your key and not your trasaction ID It should look something like XX-123456-123456-123456-123456 Also log into your account on this page: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/mig21bis/ There is a yellow button down the page "Show serial numbers" to get your number. You may also check your module manager inside the game, see if you have the MiG-21 there. Run a repair if it doesn't shows up under "installed" I'm sorry if all this isn't new to you, but I think it's just bizarre that it won't work for you. :dunno:

 me neither, too bad EDIT: if you look at Siths posts this becomes even more tragic :badmood:
-
It just freezes after it seems to finish the activation? Like he described? Could it be your firewall or anti-virus software that tries to block this? Have you tried to use the pcmsl.exe directly, like Cobra847 described in this post. This solved an issue I've had a few days ago.

DCS World presentation at HCC Flightsimulator
mig29movt replied to Joe Kurr's topic in Community News
I have to admit that I had this time as well, but mostly in FS2004. (I remember flying Bratsk to Irkutsk in a russian passenger airplane :) ) Tried Lock on back then it seemed to be very interesting but I was waiting for FSX, pre ordered it and got disappointed in a way I never was until then (and now). So I began to to look closer at Lock on FC with the Ka-50 just around the corner. Which then totally got me. :joystick:  -

I still don't get why some people still bother with FSX  Show them how a flight sim should be! Especially the heli people. -

mig29movt replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
+1 totally agree but I'm only replying to this post to tell you that it is working now (since an hour or so) Happy flying :megalol: :joystick: -
2.0, sorry I thought this would be written in the logs (2.0.0.48525 actually) Thanks for the radar fix btw!
-
Now it happened to me as well: I was trying to shoot some ground targets, as I pulled the trigger, the game crashed. Logs attached gun fire crash.zip
-
Check if the radar is turned off. Else upload the log files as described in the FAQ, this may help the devs solving the problem.
-
You guys should upload a proper bug report, because this never happened to me here. It's not easy to fix something when the problem doesn't seem to appear everywhere EDIT: seems it also happens to me, I've created a separate thread
-
<and in three separate threads, so just people will know>
