I've seen BSG Viper builds, X-wings, and a few others...this is AWESOME! (Note: In spite of the word "homemade", this is an actual F-111C fuselage section being repaired/refurbished as authentically as possible)

Incirlik has some incredible mountains to the east. Syria map has it! Mountains = TFR land! Set 200', hard ride, 700 mph...

It'll work on all maps LOL.

That, or the over-G damage may be cumulative...

Hi, Right now, I've got a triple monitor setup ((1920x1080)* 3 = 5760x1080) and considering upgrading to a 34" curved monitor (3440x1440). It's 20% fewer pixels, so my system should be able to handle it, and I won't be annoyed by the bezels anymore (they're minimal anyway). Has anyone done this? Was it worth it? Should I know anything about this swap before ordering it? Thanks in advance!

Seems easy enough to duplicate...10% fuel, no stores, low alt., max horizontal turn.

Thank you! I've always perceived it to start out with "right low", probably because the R needle is lower than the left....but on that side of the gauge, "lower" means "more".

Hi, discovered this over the past few times I tried cross-country in the F-5. Full internal fuel, take off get to altitude and after some distance (30 miles-ish) I notice the right tank still shows full, while left is decreasing. Flip the transfer switch to "right low" but after some more straight and level flying, the right tank still shows full while the left went down to half. This used to function properly about a month ago. Track file included. (Edit: transfer switch is thrown about 7:30 into the flight, by 10:00 it is clear that left is going down while right is not) Thanks! F5 Fuel Trf problem.trk

What was your airspeed when it stalled? F-5's land around 145-160.

Is the G-warm up actually effective in-game (better tolerance for high g maneuvers), or is it a "for the immersion" thing?

Normally, only you can see the skin, but if anyone else has the plane and the skin, they'll see it also.

There is an Iowa mod online. You'll have to google it, as I'm not home right now.

Where to go for tutorials?
VZ_342 replied to greyseal494's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Yes, most of the VSN mods are based on FC3. There is a VSN discord, as well as a "Century Series" discord, either one has the right people for you. -
I wonder if that's related to the "su-25 view shakes whenever airbrakes are out" bug...?

I can imagine on start-up the radar goes out... pilot sends out a call for "redball" and maintenance comes tearing out to you, several techs jump out and start their maintenance stuff, panels open, ladders show up, and after 5-15 minutes the radar starts working again! And all the while the hostile aircraft are getting closer and closer....

F-4E Phantom Development Report - DCS Newsletter 31/03/2023
VZ_342 replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
I think it's a bit unfair to VSN to compare their F-4 mod to "a packet of mustard", especially if you haven't flown it yet. -
We can only dream....

Ok, got my brrrrt-rrrt! A2G mode, thank you! Found the gun instructions in the Razbam manual (near the end of it, after bombs and rockets). Going to look at the Chuck's guide again as well.

Yup, stage 1 and stage 2, with TM warthog. Nothing.

After much finagling, I got to the point where I can reliably start the M2000 and taxi/takeoff...but after achieving stable and level flight, I tend to shoot up the place. Except I do not know how to activate the guns. Couldn't find it in the manuals (not even Chuck's), and the videos I've seen just show a quick mouse cursor going into the shadows and a "oh, click this!" without saying what "this" is. Please, if possible, tell me where the "on" switch (for guns) is. I know the master arm is (near the left knee) and the gun arm switch is(to the left of left knee) but no brrrt-rrrt-rrrt! Thx
