:D happy days, is this a new guide coming out sir. Can't wait, your guides are legendary. Cowboy10uk

Just follow the install procedure included with the files, but use your DCS alpha build instead. Obviously already assuming you've installed Helios on it. They run fine, I'm using all his profiles on both 1.5 and 2.0 builds on my machine with no issues. Cowboy10uk

nope only have 1 running mate and only one in task manager. Update. Deleted all versions, I could find. Wheels, Beta, Normal. Reinstalled just 1.1.1.33 only with Admin rights and issue still occurs. Likewise with Beta 1.1.1.37 Wheels Beta appears unaffected. Is there a way I can change the port it uses as there is a conflict somewhere, I'll just be damned if I can find it. The simshaker that stays open does appear to work and communicate with the jetseat as I can test motors etc without issue, just trying to get rid of the rather annoying errors. Cowboy10uk

Hi guys, having a slight issue updating the latest simshacker software (1.1.1.33) , ive had this before and it corrected itself but this time its driving me nuts. basically I start simshacker, and it asks for me to authorise simshacker to temporary allow admin rights, I click ok to continue and then get an error message stating opps could not open coonection, is another instance running, come up twice, I click ok and it opens 2 windows of simshacker and then I get a net framework error that closes one of the instances and another window stating form load network port is busy. now obviously its trying to open simshacker twice, and that's overloading the ports. has anyone got any idea how to correct so I can update please. Not too sure, all I can say is Helios and DCS works fine with my setup. Again Windows 10 professional 64bit All switches work perfectly, as just the control panel and editor. Sorry I can't help more. Only time I've struggled is when I didn't setup your MI8 or KA50 profile correctly. Once I redid the instructions it worked fine Cowboy10uk

:O wow, can't wait to use this mate, yet another stunning profile. Cowboy10uk

Ohhhh Project cars AND ETS2/ATS, now that I will be very very interested in, funnily enough was playing both just last night and found myself wishing I could use my jetseat for it. :) Just requested to join group on FB, is that all I need to do, to help test the software Andre? Certainly will be a first day purchase. Cowboy10uk

+1 I used to live on Subsim when I was living silent hunter, really really happy to see its still about. Cowboy10uk

:O Count me in, I love Silent hunter. Still using 3 and GWX like many. 5 was fun with the fully walkable interior but I felt something was missing. Maybe I should take another look and see what the latest mods are. This looks great fun mind you. Cowboy10uk

Sadly back to work for another 6 days on Sat mate. Shifts are great in one respect but a pain in the behind if I want to arrange anything social. Will give you a shout next week and try and sort something out bud. Cowboy10uk

Yes mate. 1.5.3. Not sure when it came out. Been stuck at work last 6 days, so been a good week since I turned it on. Cowboy10uk

Installed an update today on 1.5 open beta. Coordinated turns were no longer a problem, seemed to work perfectly, so I'm guessing there's a FM update in it. Cowboy10uk
-
I'm assuming the patch that I installed today included the new FM changes, if so great job. No sliding forward and damn I could even lift her into the hover and do coordinated turns without diving out of the sky. :) Granted still ended up a flaming wreck, but that was down to myself having no skills whatsoever. ;) The gazelle was a joy to fly. Whatever updated today, made a huge difference. Cowboy10uk

Fuel cutoff lever and brake - Axis working?
Cowboy10uk replied to Ratcatcher's topic in SA-342M Gazelle
Using the thrust master warthog throttle for rotor brake and throttle with no issues here. Axes works fine. Cowboy10uk -
That is fantastic news Thankyou, not that I had any doubt. Only problem now is, I can't blame the model for my bad flying. ;) Cowboy10uk

Now that's some proper testing. Just wondering if you can tell us, how he found it? I'm absolutely loving the challenge, and damn it has certainly improved my flying of the Huey, as I'm now used to making smaller inputs. Beautiful aircraft and module. Cowboy10uk

Hi guys, used this with the Hawk for the first time last night. However I seem to have an issue, that I get no effects while on the ground. No engine or taxing vibration whatsoever. When I'm flying, the I can feel all G effects and wing shudder, Stalls with no issues whatsoever. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue or any idea what setting I need to change to solve this. All other aircraft that I've tried, Huey, Gazelle, Mirage seem to work fine. Cowboy10uk
-
Well that's her purchased ready. :) now just to sit back and wait. Cowboy10uk

Well just did another 30 mins flying in the Gazelle, trying to get in 30 mins everyday, and damn my flying is coming on leaps and bounds, started on enclosed LZs today, still not overly pretty as I tend to over correct as I transition from forward flight into a hover, but still managed to get in and out of them ok and no hard landings today at all. I then switched back over to my beloved Huey, so I didn't start to get skill fade. I was very presently surprised to find her smooth to handle, she seemed so placid compared tomlastvtime I flew her, I'm guessing as the Gazelle is such a sensitive young lady, the delicate muscle memory that is being imprinted so I can control her is being transferred over to when I fly the Huey. It now makes perfect sense why the Brits used Gazelles to train pilots, once you get used to the sensitivity needed to fly the Gazelle, you have the skills for good smooth flight for any other helo. I think it's fair to say that if you want to learn how to fly Helos and certainly in DCS, then start with the Gazelle, put the hours in learning her, controlling her, navigation, night flying, landings, confined landings, hovering and then and only then the weapon systems. When you then move up a level to the Huey and then again to the MI8, you will find it so so much easier. Polychop, I've said it before and I'll say it again, well done, THANKYOU this helo is amazing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the FM in any shape way or form, it's purely down to getting used to the sensitivity needed to fly her, basically if you see the cyclic moving, you're being too heavy handed. Out of interest, how much clearer is the CV1, I love the DK2, but the resolution just isn't there. Is it possible to finally read the dials and switches, spot targets etc or is it still blurry? That's a great idea though, 2 players in VR operating a Gazelle, damn what an exciting prospect. Cowboy10uk
