Is this possible? I’ve seen YouTube videos of people doing the bit test with wings folded, but when I try it starts but never completes. Last night I was actually able to brick the fcs doing the bit test. The slats were stuck in a weird position and stick inputs wouldn’t do anything.

Preventing controls? How is this a good idea?

Kind of OT, but I was listening to some former hornet drives talk about tanking and they were talking about when tanking in the day time they just use hand signals. I know we are at the limitation of dcs world but I found that interesting.

Going to see the blues this weekend and in anticipation I decided to try my hand at it. Pretty fun even though I put the plane in the ground a few times. Looks great without the pylons. Love this module.

The launch bar is held in the shuttle no matter what position the switch is in.

I flipped mine and it’s way better to know if I’m in burner or not.

Having doubt(a feeling of uncertainty or lack of conviction) about the early access product, sounds like an opinion to me.

As being as respectful as I can I think that you should hold your opinions until the final product is released. The radar is still under development as is most (or all) of the systems. As a software developer in my real life, I would ask you to look for confirmation of a feature being complete or verified as working before assuming things not working are bugs.

When I first fired up the hornet on release week the ifei brightness knob worked just fine, but lately the knob doesn’t do anything.

Thanks that helped. I have some instances where I don’t understand why I’m not seeing them. For example. I was at the same altitude about 5 miles trail. Radar was set to 1 bar scan 20 degree and tdc was at my altitude. They eventually showed up after about 30 seconds but I don’t get why it took that long.

The thing I struggle with the most is the abeam distance and therefore my 27 to 30 degree bank angle behind the ship. I adjust the angle at the 90 but sometimes I still overshoot.

Before this module I use to fly the A10 and WW2 planes, so my radar knowledge isn't so good. Can anybody give me tips on searching using the radar. I was doing some of the instant action 2 v 2's and 1 v 1's and if I lost sight of an opponent that decided to run, I really had a hard time picking them up on radar. I am changing the width and number of bars of the scan as well as the antenna elevation, but to be honest I fumble around searching for a few minutes before consulting the F10 screen for a general bearing. Any tips?

I tried 2 v 1 vs 2 mig 15’s. I got waxed multiple times.

One question. Pilot protocol is to lower the launch bar and once it’s in the shuttle set the switch to up so they don’t have to do it after the cat shot before they raise the gear. If we press u and raise the launch bar switch once the bar is “in the shuttle”, does the launch bar stay down?

i was having issues with this as well so I taxi'd around a bunch with nws-hi and just watched how the nose wheel behaved when I did certain things. Once my understand of it was better it's not a problem. I believe that I read this was not a bug.

When I request to start up I get a response immediately from the tower. I however cannot ever get a response for a request to taxi or take off. I’ve only been flying out of batumi.
