  1. There's a couple 45 minute offsets as well out there.
  2. I believe that they can do what they want as long as they are on time and at the correct place for exit. The standard or half standard rate turns just make the timing easier to calculate.
  3. Doubtful. I had no problem with the current gear drag. My break is a lot smoother after yesterday for some reason though.
  4. From what I've heard it's down to the second and maybe as big as +/- 5. Any deviation in time screws up the spacing between planes and thus the recovery on deck.
  5. I have a go pro and they don't do well in low light so you probably just cant see the screens.
  6. I have one for the Persian gulf map. I just has a battle group and a tanker, nothing special. It has a wicked crosswind though.
  7. Same as setting a tacan in the advanced waypoint options
  8. I was able to add icls to a previous mission I had. The night approach isn’t as hard as I thought it would be but can be disorienting at times. I quickly learned to trust the icls needles until 3/4 mi then as they can screw your approach while in close.
  9. I tested it, but honestly can't tell if it's the same or less.
  10. weird. I mapped mine successfully.
  11. Here it is
  12. I remember playing the top gun pc game and you had to do recon missions.
  13. The only commands I lost was hotas and axis assignments for throttle and stick. The switches on the throttle were still there as well as my rudder.
  14. Same way you set up a tacan instead select activate icls and select the channel in the ME.
  15. We also have to account for the ship moving away from us as well.
  16. I’m about the ramp up my case 3 training and I was wondering how I am going to time my racetrack pattern in the Marshall stack. What math do I need to do to figure out my timing between the 4 racetrack points?
  17. No. It’s being fixed.
  18. It’s actually a regulation that a % of the helmet be reflective I believe. That being said I can pull YouTube videos and most have designs on them even with this regulation. USN squadron pilots.
  19. It sounds like the current behavior of our module should be changed then because ours does indeed set the lbar switch to up not when in mil but at the end of the cat shot.
  20. It isn’t fun. We should have designs.
  21. After looking at it I think we have a mix of both. When the throttle is advanced to mil or above the switch stays down but gets automatically switched to up at the end of the catapult stroke. I’ve only had a problem with launching once. I increased throttle but nothing happened. I went to idle. Unhooked the shuttle and hooked up again using the keyboard commands. After which I went to mil and the catapult fired.
  22. It depends on the serial number of the hornet. I’m assuming based on the current behavior we have the one that raises the launch bar automatically based on throttle position.
  23. I disagree. Many of them are mostly white but have designs on them and some USMC still use camo patterns.
  24. I believe it's an A&B model tomcat.
