DCS 2.0: Friends cannot see each others public servers
shonist replied to Ghostrider142's topic in Multiplayer
Its how internet works, open ports are always needed. btw, try opening up that ports, its easy and there are plenty of guides/tutos. If the router/modem is from your ISP try calling them and telling this, maybe they could open the port for you. GL. -
i usually play on 2.0 and thats all, theres a server 79th or something that has 10-20~ sometimes so i jump on them. remember if you see a good server with 2 ppl, join it, maybe being 3, other guy see it and say... well i join, and then 4... andthe story goes on.

trim is very useful when in autopilot mode and if you are damaged or something, perhaps you have to trim your aircraft to maintain linear... i use trim a lot

What aircraft are you going to be flying in normandy and why ?
shonist replied to silenteye's topic in DCS: Normandy 1944
well... for the sake of simulating, i simulate im a independant and smart pilot that only flies for blood thirst so whatever plane/cuontry lets me fly it, i will... so i can kill. I think being fan of a country/side makes one to lose a lot of parts of the game. Imagine all the other people like me, from argentina, a country that doesnt even have planes on the game... should i dont play dcs because of that? Btw, patriotism is pure cancer for the human race. -
You are correct, but if you think about other games/sims, you already have most of the files even if you dont own or you arent able to use them.

My country doesnt allow shipping from outisde to here (at least this kind of product a.k.a. electronics and basically what ppl really wants to buy outside.) So nope, im screwed. At least planes, maps, and virtual products are at the same price than everyone else ¨(at least in this region). btw, nice there on the racing sims :smilewink: -

i looked up for them but nothing here in Argentina. The most cheapest rudders i can find are "Thrustmaster Tfrp Flight Rudder Pedals" for $3300 so U$D214. and the next one is the "Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals" for U$D428 I know Thrustmaster from the hotas and from the racing wheels (im a fan of racing sims too but had to sell my G27 for bank debts). anyone knows if they are worth it? i think i should discuss this in another thread too. -
