  1. the complaints are hilarious because microsoft flight's terrain looks horrendous compared to x-plane 10.
  2. apparently the model itself is gone from the game. i was under the impression it was still in the directory somewhere. anyway, consider this a request for a new ejection pilot model then.
  3. hi, does anyone know if there's a boolean file somewhere that allows you to change the ejected pilot model for the ka-50 in blackshark 2? i'm trying to replace the new one with the old one, which is actually more detailed(think they screwed up here or something). thanks.

    licensing? then explain how they were able to use real life equipment and uniforms in arma 1 and 2? as for ace, what a joke. the very definition of bloatware. and porting mods over from arma 2 will be a waste of everyone's time. ugly, low detail models from arma 1 era=bad. best thing to do will be to create new models for it. as for the engine. it looks like vehicle and object physics are in. view distance and terrain obviously better. higher detailed models and shaders. but one thing, will soldiers still have trouble going inside buildings? i saw various screenshots where the same stupid sit and stand animations from arma 1 are still being used. the animation system looks like it'll be the same exact thing as confirmed by all shots and videos. not impressed. and i want to wait and see how everyone reacts when it turns out to be true. probably blind loyalty takes over the cerebellum again.

  9. your mission will not load when you remove the skin. either replace that skin with the default skin or edit the mission.

    of course that's what can be heard from the real plane. because you are in f3 camera, not on the ground (or behind its afterburner)

    you have to buy the rest of the island chains for 20 dollars, what a joke. i wonder how much more they'll charge for the rest of the world. could possibly run up to the hundreds.

    just gave it a little try and found it remarkably bad. the flight model is nearly nonexistent. it felt very artificial and "gamey". maybe it's the characteristics of the particular plane i was flying. the graphics are somewhat disappointing, but the performance is quite impressive, considering how awful fsx was in its early days. i have everything on max, with a few on high. smoothing makes a lot of difference. but the ground textures were fairly bad, perhaps even worse than dcs black shark, but redeemed partially by the highly varied foliage and man made structures. they need to work on their low level noise textures. ms flight...your very own amelia earhart avatar: http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/4721/gitl.jpg
  19. achievements are for stupid people who play games as a means(waste time, escapism, etc) rather than an end(fulfill a compulsion, enjoyment, etc).
  20. there's numerous cold start videos available on youtube, including an official one from ed already. i'm not seeing what you're trying to accomplish here.

    no, it's not basically that. but you're right, it's an old technique. and it has nothing to do with artists. the programmer has to write the engine. the artist can do whatever they want to the extent granted by it.
