  1. The actual latest official is here https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/documentation/dcs-f15e_flight_manual_en/
  2. You seem to be looking at an older version of the manual. Those sections are way more filled out in the most recent. Though it doesn't seem to say much about what the bar setting does. I'd probably guess it has to do with how tall the area the scan covers though. At least that's what most bar settings do in relation to radars.
  3. If it does get added in the future, I'd love it they could be 2 separate options. While I love the imperial markings outside the altimeter, I don't care as much about the distance scale. (And I found the 1x / 10x indicator the mod used to be less clear/slower to parse than the mil / km from the normal one) EDIT: I'd also be just fine if you just release it as a separate mod/cockpit we can choose to install ourselves if we want it.
  4. I'm not sure this can be classified as a "bug". While it's not realistic, is it working as HB designed it.
  5. I think that might be from when the kneeboard pack was newly released, these days you can just drop the image files in the correct kneeboard folder and they'll work just fine
  6. Does this mean that the @MYSE1234 cockpit textures mod is no longer needed? And if it's no longer needed, what about the altimeter foot scale sub-mod?
  7. Are you adding/removing power after selecting your desired altitude?
  8. It'll repeatedly take screenshots of the display when RCD is active, how often depends on what screen is shown.
  9. Iirc, it should be the same process from either seat. Just do the command to take command of the display twice.
  10. They are literally only showing it with VR hands in the video.
  11. There's already about thread about that... https://forum.dcs.world/topic/333485-altitude-button-does-not-engage/

    AGM-154

There hasn't been an update yet... But soon™
  13. That does make it sound like my theory is correct then, and it should really be in the ON position on a cold start.
  14. Having taken a quick look at the IRL manual, the before engine start checklist only says to check/verify that the generator is set to ON. Which might suggest that it's really supposed to be left in the ON state.
  15. Considering the limit is there for physical reasons, the limit will always be relative to sea level. But it was clearly enough of an issue since later versions of the lantirn pods have a much higher limits (for example the version the DCS Tomcat has)

    IFF Mode 4

I assume that's a placeholder SRS decided to use while waiting for for correct way to get added
  17. Trying to go as fast as possible can often cause you to pitch out of the limits for the doppler system.
  18. Are you trying to push the speed to the absolute limit? @LuseKofte
  19. F-15 will also do that, as long as the newly selected steerpoint is a target point.
  20. No, the current tpod does not have that feature. It should probably be available in one of the other pods that'll be coming later though.
  21. while it's clearly still WIP, the IFF screen on the UFC did get included in the latest openbeta (though it does seem to be cosmetic only) and I'm also seeing that it doesn't seem to allow 0s on any digit for M3 currently.
  22. I did have the decimal point in there, because that's how the jet itself fills out the scratchpad with the old frequency.
  23. Radios won't accept frequencies entered with all 0s as decimals, which means you can't put back the old frequency that gets placed in your scratchpad if it was a whole number (like "253.000"). Anything ending in ".0" ".00" or ".000" just results in the error-flashing. And this applies to both radios.
  24. Maybe it could be an idea to include an example of specifying a runway heading on the airbase points (F10 map markers) (and if there are any other missing options)
