HRM mode will have a blind-spot in front due to how synthetic aperture scanning works. (It requires sideways motion relative to the radar to get the extra resolution you get from SAR scans) Use the normal ground mapping mode if you need to see in front of you.

Disable Throttle Cutoff Detent or set to 0
LazyBoot replied to EbonySeraphim's topic in Bugs and Problems
Are you letting go of the finger lifts after you've passed the detent? -
you need to go through the ground crew menu
-
left ctrl + left shift + escape (repeat to move through the different modes, including hidden)

... I don't have the F-15E, but it's using 6GB in CoreMods??
LazyBoot replied to Snacko's topic in Bugs and Problems
You do if you want to be able to see it in multiplayer. -
The controls overlay (ctrl+enter) will also show a line where the ab zone starts.

Looking a bit more closely at it... It gets depressed if switching to the engineer seat (and probably happens with the gunner as well). So it's the AI that presses it and doesn't release it!

I was having the same issue, until I tapped the Collective Brake button... Then alt-hold started working for me. I assume the auto-start presses the collective brake button to account for both settings in the special options for it.

Neutral airbases will quite frequently ignore you, better to always use friendly ones.

There have been a number of skins that have similar generic names for as long as I've been flying the Mi-8 in DCS... HOWEVER, they are all (normally) locked to specific countries. But when using the Combined Joint Task Forces to get access to all liveries, the "mess" in the first post shows up.

Doesn't really help that on any mission with any complexity, it seems to use up much of the emitter slots with friendly radars. ☹
-
Which is also why they eventually made LJDAMs... Combining the best of both by having both GPS/INS guidance and a laser seeker.

DCS has completely separate controls for each module, so you will need to make sure all axis and buttons are set on a per-plane basis.

The Norway and Sweden parts of the Kola map will certainly be UTC +1 (when DST is not in effect)

That would just make the radar cursor go the wrong way instead.

Feedback Thread AJS-37 Viggen Patch July 24th 2023
LazyBoot replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
According to the IRL manual, with the loadout you mentioned, the acceleration should look something like this. -
Do you have enough wind in the mission to make 09 the active? If I recall, senaki prefers 27 in low/no wind conditions (despite only 09 having ILS)

delivered Mi-8 Multicrew Forewarning
LazyBoot replied to jmijnen's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
The 3 cockpit seats and the left-side gunner are indeed the available seats (those are the only ones that was playable before the multicrew update, so it makes sense) The rear door gunner is not playable. -
Did you do both sets on the split knobs?

If you attack from the correct angles, you can sometimes get a hit if you fired 2, but not too frequently. However, get a buddy and launch 4 (especially if you attack from different angles) you can almost always get at least 1 hit, and quite often more.

The RB-15 in DCS also flies low enough that most ship SAMs struggle to intercept until it gets to CIWS range.
-
Making sure to test with a few different kinds of units could also be a good idea (and making sure they have engines running)
-
I believe I've successfully used it for in-air restarts in the past (though always through keybind, not pushing with the mouse)... Unless I'm completely misremembering.
