  1. 1. make sure you're testing both hot+pre-loaded starts and cold+rearmed starts, they need different values (rearms require much greater values) 2. make sure to aim using far away objects, or else the physical location of the camera will introduce offsets.
  2. Do you normally turn left or right after releasing the weapon?
  3. And from the upcoming patch notes, you'll need to talk to ground crew to change them.
  4. I did fly a mission the other day where it seemed to drain from both the external wing tanks and the CFTs at the same time. I had to specifically stop transfer from the CFTs to get the externals to drain first. Is that a bug then?
  5. Also make sure you remember to turn the volume up, it starts at 0 when loading in.
  6. Have you tried different parking spots? And do the ground crew ignore all planes in the same parking spot or just the F-15E?
  7. GBU-10, 12, etc are also Paveways (Paveway II, if you want to get really pedantic)
  8. I tend to do the opposite, poke the contrast rocker UP, and the brightness down a little. To me that makes the route and points stand out more, and make the map itself less blown out at the same time.
  9. From what I remember, liberation JTACs will smoke and laser automatically... Without any communication needed by the player.
  10. are you flying under 25k feet?
  11. in some of the other jets in DCS you can get NCTR info on cold targets as well as hot targets. (just not beaming/notching targets) is it a bug or a limitation of the jet that we can only get NCTR on hot targets in the F-15E?
  12. It's only 100% reliable if you ignore things like battle damage. We've seen several instances of teamkills on our servers because someone was trying to nurse a injured plane back to an airfield, and someone shot them due to no IFF response. Mostly seems to happen if DCS thinks the player is dead while they might still be flying (though usually not combat capable anymore)
  13. Could we please have a special option to have the controls ghosted by default? I'd prefer to not have to re-ghost them every time I start a mission or switch seats.
  14. The B variant has a little bit higher magnification compared to the other variants.
  15. A couple of quick questions: Did all of you remain alive (and in the jets) past the time the missiles vanished? Did you check if the ones that disappeared got intercepted? (by SAMs etc)
  16. Don't forget you can load 4x mavs (Rb-75) as an option as well
  17. You can get a surprising amount of TOO out of if, if you grab the right weapons. Sure, you're limited to your mk1 eyeballs and the simple radar for finding targets. But it can be done.
  18. The one called "mission"
  19. for all other planes it's just a lua table inside the misfile itself (it's a per unit setting, so is part of the table for each unit)
  20. radio presets tab is available in the mission editor for the A-10c2 as of the latest update
  21. The ARC-210 replaces the forward VHF radio.
  22. When manipulating the manual frequency dials, if choosing in invalid frequency* the radio will accept it but will be tuned one operation behind what the display is showing (example: setting 200.000 then 210.000 will have the radio tuned to 200.000 even if the display shows 210.000) * at least I'm assuming they are invalid due to it only happening on frequencies that the ME does not allow assigning to presets, and the "prev" button not working on them either.
  23. if you're using waypoints from the datacartridge, the QFE should be in your kneeboard.
  24. it will go to the currently selected waypoint, regardless of what type it is. as for automatic waypoint switching, that only happens in NAV mode. In ANF it will stay on the current waypoint even if you overfly it, so manual selection is required.
