yes, the wing sweep programmer, when left in auto, will automatically select the optimum wing sweep for the mach in question.

The F-16 used the P&W F100-P200 engine where the F-111 used the P&W TF30.. after Block 30 the majority of F-16's used the GE F110 engine.

Ya know..HB... Once you get those TF30's modeled..there's another aircraft that used the same engines and engine control systems...

A's were upgraded up until they retired. In 99 the remaining A's, (14, 41, 211 and 154) were given the DFCS (digital flight control system) and a few other more minor upgrades (PTIDS, etc). The A's never carried JDAM's, their weapons control computer wouldn't handle it. The JDAM was exclusive to the B's and D's.

No, the GE's totally changed the engine tone from the PW's.

Once the CFT's are uploaded to an aircraft they're rarely downloaded. If they do load the F-15C's up with them..that'll likely be it. The only time we'll see them without CFT's from here on out will be going to or coming out of Phase. I know most of the combat coded F-15C units are planning on training with the CFT's from here on out.

The challenge with a lot of British aircraft is the UK MOD is notoriously tight lipped when it comes to their aircraft. I would love a Tornado in DCS, but given the age, the best we could hope for would be a GR1. The thought of low level, NOE strikes on runways with JP233's makes me all warm and tingly inside.
