Eh...I get it...but I was really wanting the Harm before the JHMCS... Flying Iron Hand would be newer to DCS than more A/A focus in the Hornet..but I get that most people just populate dogfight servers and such and aren't about a big picture mindset.

It's the question of what level of fidelity an individual developer is willing to accept. There are classified systems left out of BMS but they figure they can get close enough for the civilian market.

There's some stuff that is kind of frustrating when it's not listed, even a hint. Example: In the most recent Hornet update they altered the flight model with the flaps/wheels down logic. Now if you sneeze on the throttles during final in the groove you'll balloon up and float over the wires...meanwhile wing dip loss of lift is remarkably more severe. Essentially whatever muscle memory or such you had for carrier approaches is now shot to hell.

As has been stated before..the challenge with the P-47 is Republic had a habit of destroying official documentation on their aircraft...so essentially the P-47 is having to almost be redeveloped from scratch with flight model testing, etc.. It's also why there's not enough info to do a proper F-105 anymore, either.

Actually the Crusader only got one or two kills with the guns. The vast majority of the kills were with the Sidewinder. The reason why it was a mandatory requirement was due to the Phantom not having a gun and the trouble it had, not necessarily because the Crusader was so successful with them.

Honestly I suspect that ED's dedicated servers will be to service their online multiplayer world (be it a dynamic online MMO campaign or otherwise).. I think people hoping for ED to have dedicated servers to rent for things like Open Conflict, Blue Flag or otherwise will be disappointed.

...Where are you getting that? JESTER is critical to the F-14..it won't be a functioning module without it. Just because you don't need it doesn't mean others won't need it (IE offline pilots, etc)..so..you'll get it when it's ready.
