  1. That's a pretty sweet home pit, Jar.
  2. Wags is the one who creates the tutorial videos and missions as well. All of the interactive early access Hornet missions have been created by him. He also lends his voice and instruction to various campaigns ..and that's only one aspect. The dude is seriously busy and a huge asset to ED.
  3. ..."Living to fight slow while others scorn it!"
  4. Frankly I'm not betting on anytime within the next two years for the VKB stick. They can't seem to get their supply lines figured out..I've been wanting to pick up a Gunfighter with the BF-109 grip for a while but haven't been able to find one
  5. Beneath the surface the F-1117 was mostly F-15 and F/A-18...lol
  6. The CF-100 was never used by the US over Korea.
  7. Well the harrier is a mess right now. The radios don't work at all IIRC.
  8. And VKB and VirPil can't seem to get their production logistics figured out...yes..they're smaller companies, but everywhere I go when I've considered getting a VKB or VirPil it's either out of stock, "coming soon" or "TBA".
  9. We'll always back Heatblur, you guys have tackled one of the most beloved aircraft of all time, and easily the most beloved naval aviation asset of all time. That's not something for the faint of heart..you're basically asking to be exposed to the slings, arrows, spears and barbs of rabid fanboys.. The least we can do is back you all up while you work through this, and then heartily compensate you!
  10. Guys...all the whispering and wishing is kind of null at this point. The next "flagship" module is going to be the F-16.. Just being real here.
  11. They're saying it's a possibility but won't commit to doing so. They have an immense amount of work ahead of them still, even once the F-14B gets into "early access"..I use quotations because their module will be by far the most complete EA aircraft yet. This is what they have ahead of them after the F-14B is released later this year. 1: Completing the F-14B (finishing out all desired and planned features, etc) Bug fixes, etc. 2: Finishing the F-14A (aka the TF30 AsthmaCat) and repeating the same processes as above. 3: Finishing and releasing the Iranian variant of the F-14A (aka the AliCat). 4: ...THEN..maybe, the F-14D, provided the previous three goals go smoothly and successfully. So..yes..it's a possibility..but we need to support HB now and be patient while they finish what they've already got cooking.
  12. If a "new player" isn't patient enough to even put up with a long automated start then they have zero business buying a complex study sim level module..maybe WarThunder or Strike Fighters 2 is more their game.
  13. They're still working on it, Wags said that in his last livestream and indicated we'd be hearing more on it in the not-too-distant future. I really don't think Thrustmaster gives a crap about VKB or VirPil. Flight sim controllers are a fairly small segment of their overall market, their bread and butter is racing sim controllers.
  14. I'm sure the Hornet will have a profile built in for the Warthog..it's just unfortunate we won't have a new label plate
  15. With the DCS Persian Gulf map being close to release, and stating it could easily be expanded..along with a DCS Syria and DCS Afghanistan map being in development.. Is there a goal/plan/etc to eventually merge those three maps into one, large, continuous Middle Eastern map area?
  16. The author is a liar, plain and simple.
  17. Don't encourage them!
  18. I hate you both
  19. There's exactly zero reason to be afraid.. We're just normal guys with a Tomcat problem.
  20. You have no idea how much money you'll be getting from me this year
  21. I’d buy one for sure
  22. Ha! Yessir
  23. Please keep your masochistic compulsions off these forums sir
