Question NineLine, and feel free to say you can't discuss it..
Is it simply a data error in that the engine is producing the appropriate thrust but it's not being displayed correctly on the gauges and readouts...or is the engine actually both underperforming and thus showing a displayed limit that is lower?
the reason why it became known as the Viper is because when the F-16 was first introduced, the original Battlestar Galactica was on the air and the F-16 reminded pilots and maintainers of the Starfighter in it, the Colonial Viper.
It's also because from some angles it looks like a hooded snake from below

Please see the TacView that was recorded in reference to the F-16 turn performance. It seems that the F-14 may be dramatically over performing in terms of both ITR and STR.
