  3. I am the one who made the F-16 sound mod that DocEast is using. I Took the sounds from other sources and changed the name/file type to match that of the ones in the F-16 folder. I then made it JSGME compatable. Works perfectly for me and others I have sent it too. Edit. I do not have issues with F-18 sounds being replaced either. So not sure what causes that
  4. If I'm going for straight ground attack, I have Taken off with 45% gas, TGP, gunpod, 2 empty tanks and 6 GBU-12's. You do of course have to hit the tanker pretty damn quickly. I have changed to 2 GBU-16 and 2 GBU-12 and had same results getting off the deck
  5. I stopped taking Sparrows along time ago. I opt for extra AIM-9 or just slap a Phoenix on there. I'll take them again once they get improved
  6. If your RIO selects the 2 fuel tank pylons, you can jettison them by flipping the ACM cover and pressing the button under it as another way of jetting them
  7. Has anyone done a have glass F-14 yet? F-14 painted up to look like an F-35 would be pretty cool IMO

  9. I havent seen any Hornet RWR mods either TBH. I have all the sounds for the viper, I just dont know how to get them to work in game
  10. Has anyone had any luck in adding RWR sounds to the F-16? I used RAE for the A-10C for the longest time, and would love to add some more sounds to the Viper but havent had any luck yet.
  11. If your RIO needs to go for X reason, ask him/her nicely to select return to spectators from the role select screen before disconnecting and you will get Jester once they leave the jet.
  12. how do I edit the underside of the speed break? Specifically the top one. I cant seem to find that texture file.

  14. quick question for the pro's. I have a custom skin that changes to another skin when I zoom away from the jet in external camera. How do I fix this?
  15. Just did a 4 player (2 pilots and 2 RIO's) Iran reactor strike mission and neither aircraft could get the LANTIRN area track or point track to work. Tried both A/A and A/G Mode. Same issue Double checked bindings (they were fine) powered off and on again (LOL) still doesn't work. Wondering if anyone else has seen this issue.

  17. So since I have not heard/seen anything on this since the F-14 went into pre order. Are those of us that had an order delay on the T-shirts still going to receive an F-14 key?

  20. Is anyone else having these issues with the jet?: TrackIR head tracking is VERY touchy. Feels way more twitchy then any other jet Aircraft damage model: The plane is almost invincible. I just took 10 missiles to the face and but from an Osa and it had no effect at all on the bird. Countermeasure system doesnt want to work when in the both position. Works fine in pos 1 and 2 though.

  23. Nevermind, found the answer. For anyone else who is interested: Inertial Navigation Reference Track Mode. The INR track mode is a TPOD IMU supported automatic back−up tracking mode for the EO sensor tracking system. Also, during the target tracking process, the pilot may find it necessary to select INR to drive the pod into the INR track mode if there is a chance the CCD track may be lost due to atmospheric conditions or physical LOS obstructions. In INR, the pod uses IMU data to track the target’s last known position and to maintain the pod’s LOS relative to the ground. When INR is selected, the pod underlines the INR legend above PB 19 and displaysINRbelowthereticle.Thepoddoesnot respond to PB 19 if INR is already displayed
  24. The pocket guide just says "Clicking on this PB sets the TPOD into Inertial Navigation Reference Track mode (INR). The pod displays the appropriate symbology and underlines INR. This PB is non-functional when INR is displayed" But what exactly is it? I dont see any noticeable change in the data being displayed on the screen when switching between track modes.
  25. Interesting. I see you chose to launch right as the line appeared/started closing instead of waiting for it to be within the max distance markers. Looks like it still worked great though. I guess I'll do more testing with launching before the time line hits the max markers and see what happens.
