I don't have that menu either but can navigate as you suggest. (Win 8.1 and green) Funny thing was I'd tried that already (updater.exe I mean) Anyway - run a repair and then it updated and installed hot fix all by itself...:thumbup:

I've not done extensive tests or anything but in a mission I built it was very noticable that FPS were crushed when the MAV screen was on. TPG on seemed not to make any difference?? (not that I could notice anyway) Just the MAV screen for me?? When that screen isn't on though...wow!! My specs are modest...I5 HP laptop with 16gb ram...HD7600m (I think) and standard hard drive. Aside from being limited to a rather poor 1300x768 screen res I'm a very happy bunny... edit: 1024 (not every)....will try 512 and 256 and report back if that helps?

I understood it to mean model size....so not just aircraft but land based baddies too?

Its only available for 1.5....not compatible with earlier older software..lol..

Nope....I've used these textures and yours before and they are (sorry were) very very good....but nothing comes close to 1.5 at the moment. Edit....Well yours in 1.5 in mean!!

Yep...worked fine for me...not the LSO mission though... Mission won't load into the editor...

I did have this issue too...but kept trying and it suddenly worked! My first observation is that loading screens take much longer...all of them...give them longer before quitting... Also probably unrelated but i also had an initial error message saying some MSVP120.dll was missing...quick search online and I got it and installed it from Microsoft site...and message fixed, Had one brief flight so far....all Ican say is wow...looks great and although my pc specs are not great it does seem smoooooth... Hope this helps?

It wouldnt have hurt to briefly explain why the previous thread was closed!! Yes it was "off topic" but hey! Maybe the whole community was on there (900+ users) In my book - thats a good thing. I was on there most of the evening yesterday and although 1.5 was delayed there was a real sense of us all being in the same boat and a lot of positive comments and appreciation for the efforts ED were going through to keep us all updated as best they could....and then suddenly bam!...thread closed!! Yes there was the occassional "are we there yet" - "what about steam" - "its still not here" comments by a very small number of posters but my impression was a lot of people excited and chatting etc. There may well be very sensible reasons for closing the thread - but please...a brief explanation would have been helpful... My two cents... Gary

In all seriousness I know this upgrade is free but to be honest I would be happy to pay a nominal "contribution" And this isn't sentiment based on the update or me being overly nice to ED I've had my fair share of gripes too - once got banned for a whole year for going on a little about the ATC update being overdue... Just an honest personal feeling. Yes I support by buying modules...but this and 2.0 will be like new sims I think. (as long as the ATC upgrade makes it soon..:music_whistling:) Anyway, if anyone famcies setting something up...I'm in! Regards, Gary

My updater isn't updating??? Via the desktop shortcut??
