  1. "The texture template for users to create their own should be available soon and should be no later than the Christmas update." @BIGNEWY any update on when the new texture template for the remaster will be available?
  2. The question is don't you read the patch notes? Since the beginning of 2021 (DCS 2.5.6) the L-39 has received one (1) module level bug fix on 22-2-24 Fixed FKP circle is oval. The L-39 has received 3 mission repairs, UPDATES or additions, 10-4-24 Instant action missions added Marianas, 30-12-21 Fixed training missions wrong take off direction, 11-6-21 UPDATED cloud settings in IA missions. ED is selling the L-39 in their store at up to full price. It is not listed as "AS IS" or EOL. You better believe the customer has a reasonable expectation for timely bug fixes and as they state, in their own words, in the patch notes UPDATES. Four in four years isn't a good track record. I am happy to pay for modernized graphical improvements based on new technology and enhanced capabilities not sold during EA but not functionality for features sold at launch. You personally are spoken about at great length on several non ED controlled groups. Questions have long existed about how you and several others are allowed to gas light and troll without challenge from the moderators. Your comments above chiding a user for not buying on sale and how you should only expect what is present and not what has been promised. How exactly does that hold water with EA being the standard for releases or modules being released from EA without all features present? These comments are unnecessary ad hominem attacks designed to stifle bug reporting and suppress reasonable complaints over a lack of attention to reported bugs that exist in purchases customers have made. Noticed you ducked the questions on your module in development.
  3. ️ + = comment with no purpose. The customer paid full price for a product and expects it to receive updates and fixes in a timely manner. Devs are busy elsewhere is not a good enough answer. Millions of our dollars have been loaned out instead of being used to hire programmers and artists to fix problems just like these. If what you say was true bug fixes would be happening. Don't you have a module in development? Wouldn't your time be better spent on that.
  4. @Snakedoc Thanks for uploading your code and finding that the base values in the code have changed. Glad to hear the original helped get you started.
  5. OP they don't post here because they can't ban for valid complaints or criticism like they can on FB and Discord. Been over a year since they stopped truly supporting the Harrier. The training missions have been broken for going on 3 years. Years old bugs they have acknowledge yet refuse to address. Sad that ED allows the behavior by third parties.
  6. Did you ever find a solution? Having the same issue with MFG pedals.
  7. Can we please get an update on this? The big December update and two hot fixes this month. Please make it a third hot fix to address this!
  8. Would like to know the status of the F-5 update as well. I am using one of the cockpit livery mods from the user posts. It still works well in 2.8 and gives it a significantly more updated look with improved textures, toggles switches and knobs. I too am frustrated by the slow pace of bug resolution in this module. The Tacan and ADF station pointer was broken by the November update, reported and acknowledged. We had no November hot-fix, and the December update and December hot-fix have not resolved the issue. I am curious about the flight model, it feels like all control inputs are focused to produce movement around a fine point in the middle, under the aircraft. Much like a child's playground tetter-totter. There is no fluidity of motion between the airframe and airflow. Hard to put into words. Would really like to hear if this an accurate representation of how the aircraft "feels" in flight by anyone that has actually flown it in real life. Really enjoy flying this module and hope to see it given some bug fixing attention soon!
  9. When entering an AV8B role in multiplayer DCS crashes. Looking at the logs there are many other errors. I have run the slow repair and these logs are the result. Any assistance would be welcome. Both logs are from two crashes today. Thanks dcs.log dcs.log.old
  10. The parking brake is on the left vertical panel just below the canopy rail.
  11. I bound the nose up and down trim to my joystick (Virpil T50CM3 with TM F-18C, plugged into MB USB port). When activating nose up or nose down trim, after releasing the switch the trim continues to increase in the direction the switch was applied until an opposing trim button is pressed. The images of the joystick in cockpit are correct and show the movement of the trim hat in the direction of input, release and return to center.
  12. Had the same issue. Flight from Batumi to Kolchi, once landed and stopped with parking brake set, Comm 1 and 2 failed to make contact with ground crew on any of the published frequencies. Additionally, the nosewheel steering refused to turn on once landed and speed reduced to a slow taxi or at a complete stop.
  13. Was this ever decided upon by ED? TWS auto is the default mode IRL and manual is selectable by the pilot. Is this a difficult fix to make? Has someone found a way to mod it in the interim? Thanks
  14. Tell him to enjoy the game anyway he wants to! In time he will likely branch into other aircraft and activities. Thanks for introducing a new player into our world. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. When you say same turn: What is your speed at entry, What is the equal G you are sustaining, What is the turn in degrees Did you apply afterburner before entry (lag in spool up) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Is there a known issue with using an axis for radar elevation? I use the axis on the Virpil throttle for radar elevation. Sometimes the radar goes full high without input and sometimes it does not. I have kept an eye on the issue and made sure that when it happens I have not accidentally moved the slider up, each time it happens the slider is in the middle position. To correct I have to move the axis lever to full high before I can get it to register any down movement. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I can see why you changed some panels orientation during design. Once you get mocked up full size I think you will quickly realize why those panels were turned 90 inboard. They are more viewable and accessible in their original form. Always great to see folks working on their dream Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah he offered me a base too. Wasn't sure if that part is worth taking to move this forward. Interested in your findings. Seeing using the built in TEDAC screen as a viewport. I have watched a few videos on gunnery training stand alone trainers, not sure exactly what we have been able to acquire Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Same dummy switch reading thru the manual it adjusts stabilator pitch. Previous forums posts on force sensing transducers that might help with this project. https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/232447-wiring-a-force-sensing-mini-stick/ https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/80377-hmas-cockpit-build/page/4/?tab=comments#comment-2784021 https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/145707-real-world-slew-controls/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Definitely interested in your PCB. I am US as well. The collective I received has an static/dummy trim switch that will need addressing. Amazing build quality Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Thank you very much! Got the whole set too. I will see what I can dig up on the CAN bus Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Would you be willing to share the rest of your pin out research? Kansas got me too.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. It is well worthwhile to figure out how to get around open hornets. They have a discord and folks there can help get you going. You have to download/clone the repository. Solid works is their cad of choice $$. There is a link to a reader which can likely export to your format of choice. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Cinematic and entertaining in a Hollywood style, but.. Improper launch, 20 right clearing turn, return BRC, maintain 500 ft for 7 miles. It's not photogenic but keeps others safe. Check out one of the many tutorials for a case one recovery, video suggests right hand pattern and well you were told to wave off twice..... Still good fun, thanks and you can enjoy your game any way you want. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. The new Helios 1.6 makes this and many other functions much easier than previous versions. It will get you where you want to go and create your own custom monitor configuration while giving you a measure of error correction. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
