Need Help with Interfacing a Switch Panel with DCS.
Fusedspine33 replied to SuperCadet63's topic in Home Cockpits
DCSBios has interfaces for more than one module, to change between modules requires a new sketch to be uploaded for each card used. With the Bodnar cards you just assign your switches from within DCS. Buy a quality product and you only feel the pain of purchase once. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Need Help with Interfacing a Switch Panel with DCS.
Fusedspine33 replied to SuperCadet63's topic in Home Cockpits
Make life easy for yourself. DCSBIOS is a great way to interface and have the sim talk to your pit, gauges, displays, but it only works with one module at a time at present. The boards below will allow you to use your switches with any module you buy. You can flash the boards to uniquely ID each board so as you add more Windows won't reassign switches between boards. There is no wrong way to make a pit, just a suggestion for ease of building. It is much less toxic to debate a topic and not the value of another persons opinion. Seems like across two threads there is like 3 folks that agree with this move. The gun rounds they removed were more effective against the targets and damage model in DCS, This move takes away another form of enjoyment for no reason, the weapon has been shown be on the aircraft, it just comes off as too lazy to code for a new ED implementation. You can use usb based monitors for the dash like cube sim or Lilliput.

Did you select save profile and create your own file name to save the configuration. -

cannot reproduce and missing track file Help - No JHMCS / HMD
Fusedspine33 replied to markturner1960's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Not sure if I am reading what you said correctly. You have a choice of JHMCS or NVG and can't have both for the same flight. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
4 sec spool time vs 6 sec spool time is 50% degraded performance and that makes a huge difference on an approach. If top end needs a fix then that should be addressed too.

Heatblur Update - Supersize Me & Public Roadmap
Fusedspine33 replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
Well, the F-4 is pretty much on the top of many wish lists. Doesn't ED already have the F-4 started? It was on their roadmap a couple years ago and then put on hold. I remember it being the Cobra and F-4 which short term became the Apache and Hind. Love these speculative threads! -
Great start! Hope you will consider sharing your .stl files. I am hopeful Virpil will add an Apache head for their upcoming collective release. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

later in early access How to enter "briefing room" ?

Third sentence of the announcement. These will be available in the coming update of DCS World 2.7.0 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
I use both readers and distance glasses. Can't stand the restricted field of view navigating steps while using bifocals. I haven't ever need the bifocals readers in VR, but I understand others prescriptions may vary. I would however still recommend trying just your distance prescription thru vropticians. Glasses and VR HMD = uncomfortable. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Gun-turret... nothing else... just a gun-turret... no turret - no buy :-)
Fusedspine33 replied to -Mop-'s topic in Wish List
Gonna wind up buying both as they are iconic aircraft. ED has their hands tied by a Government's restrictions for information and modeling. You can be sure that a government has weighed in on what Hind is to be released. This is similar to the F-14A/B. I want the D but the US would have a fit (Iran issues) leading to less cooperation with ED over future products. We all wantX/Y, but we also want ED to continue to exist. The bigger the gun the more fun there is to be had, as DCS currently stands, ground troop engagement or truck convoys aren't as satisfying as light armor engagements. Hopefully this will change as AI improves. The gun on the Harrier was also nerfed with AP rounds replaced with HE rounds. There isn't as much fun to be had with HE rounds and RAZBAM refuses to put AP back in. -
You already found the answers. There is no one "right" answer in those values. Tell us which one works for you.
